Staff was friendly, room was comfortable and very clean. Price was very reasonable for Florence. The only drawback was the street signs/numbering that made it hard to locate.

I stayed at Residenza Belli Hotel Florence on Nov. 27, 2008. The location of the hotel and the price was why we picked the place. For the price that we payed there isn't much to complain about. You have your own bathroom - they gave you towels, breakfast and your own room. Pro: 1. Breakfast is included - cereal, bread and jam 2. Location - 10 min walk from train station and duomo Cons: 1. The room smelled stale smoke even after airing the room for an hour 2. One of the towel didn't look like it had been washed since it had makeup stain on it and since I dont wear makeup it couldn't be mine (it was foundation)

DEfinitely not for families...not 3 star quality hotel, as represented. Very hard to find. Can't get in through outside locked gate until someone leaves. Elevator tiny, can barely hold one person and a suitcase, and doesn't stop at all floors. Reception on 5th floor -- not at all friendly. When I told receptionist I didn't feel safe, he informed my that people in Florence don't shoot each other, like in N.J. (where I'm from) We arrived late one night, and checked out early the next morning, even though we had no place else to stay....and dragged our luggage through Florence until we found another hotel. dadvelont
