The room was great, the staff were all friendly; and as promised were "DOG FRIENDLY" Wish I could have had time to stay longer! ONLY problem was at check out I couldn't get a copy of my bill as it was booked through a "SERVICE" as they put it!

It was beautiful landscaped, with arbors, walk ways and palm trees. The continental breakfast was so busy with poor flow. Food was still good. We loved staying here! It was beautiful and peaceful. I don't know if this is the normal but we got a room with a kitchen that was completely unexpected. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, modern, and very comfortable.

The staff are great. The breakfast and evening snacks and beverages are good. It is new and is very convenient to the beach with great shuttle service. Amenities are great!

The rooms were a good size and had a kitchen. They did not change our sheets, and the sheets were too small for the bed. Overall, the hotel was good. But it is a little far from Destin (20 minute drive without traffic). It is in Sandestin and even though it is in a community, there really isn't much to use for it being part of a resort. They really didn't clean our room very well after the first day did not change the sheets even though we were there for 5 nights and the sheets did not fit the bed. Also, the main inconvenience was that the air conditioning unit was right next to the bed and it was really loud. Loud enough that I had to wear ear plugs to sleep.

Free shuttle throughout resort and free breakfast. Loud cleaning staff. The Residence Inn was great - large room, separate bedroom, kitchen, free breakfast and a free shuttle to anywhere on the SanDestin resort property. We were in the area for a wedding and if we didn't have so many wedding commitments that weekend we would have spent much more time on the property. We looked at it right as we were leaving on Sunday and said we would have to come back someday! The cleaning staff was a little loud in the hallways early in the morning.

The hotel staff was very friendly. The room smelled horrible. I couldn't sleep because of the smell. The lobby was nice and had a very good breakfast which was included in the cost. The room, however, smelled terrible. The shower was sloped toward the middle and didn't have anything to keep you from slipping. Two of my kids fell down in the shower and I slid around the whole time! It was incredibly dangerous and they didn't offer a mat to put in the bottom of the shower.

The staff was very friendly to me. I am 23, so I am used to being treated like I am a nuisance to hotel staff. They made me feel very welcome here. I wish it had been closer to the beach but the free shuttle takes you to the resort so it is really not a problem. This hotel is great! I would definitely stay at the Residence Inn Marriott again. Everything was clean and very nicely decorated. The staff is friendly and helpful. The shuttle service is very convenient. The breakfast was wonderful, I loved the waffles. The pool is nice, and the whirlpool is very relaxing!
