The rooms are spacious, clean and well-laid out. They have a full kitchen with utensils, dishes and cookingware. But the best part was the customer service. When I checked in, a snafu caused the hotel to not know how much to charge me because of the Orbitz service. So the clerk cancelled my Orbitz reservation and made me a new one at the same price, telling me to call back if I got charged once by Orbitz and again by the hotel. So I checked my bank statement and sure enough, both Orbitz and the Marriot were charging me, so I called the Marriot, and it was looking like both sides had my money and weren't going to let go. However, the guy who I talked to at the Marriot went ahead and called Orbitz on my behalf, explaining the situation and getting them to drop the charge, without me even asking him to. That spared me no end of headache and waiting on the phone. The customer service at this hotel goes the extra mile for you.

The breakfast every morning was good. Housekeeping was not top notch. Good location and next to the Airport in Long Beach. Hotel was under construction, though my room was not next to construction. Suites were very convenient to cook food for an extended stay.

My friend and I stayed here last weekend. After being given a key to a room that was currently occupied (I cannot explain how awkward and inappropriate that situation was), we were offered no apologies and transferred to a different room that had a pile of towels on the chair, messages about previous occupants' credit card information, and, to top it off, when we called the front desk, we were told that the manager wouldn't be returning our call till Monday, as she did not work on the weekends. When we tried to order a movie, the cable crashed, and every time we spoke with a staff member, we were met with rude and unhelpful responses. When we finally spoke with the manager, she was rude, dismissive, and tried to condescendingly belittle our complaints. It was absolutely the worst hotel experience I have had to date, and I would never stay at this hotel again.

Stayed 4 nights. Excellent facilities. It was very convenient. Morning breakfast and afternoon happy hour much appreciated, because there are few restaurants in the immediate (walkable) area. The place was packed. Many business people. Limited parking, but I didn't have a car to worry about (shuttle from LAX 17). Would stay here again.

The room accommodations were quite adequate and comfortable. The outside paint was peeling in areas on the staircases and the decks were dirty. The location, room more than met our expectations and when a hot breakfast was included, it made it all the better. The breakfast bar was constantly cleaned and filled by friendly staff. The outside of our room needed some attention due to peeling paint, dirty/stained decking, stairs, but the room was clean and well maintained.

My husband and I made a quick trip to Long Beach for a funeral. The Residence Inn staff and service was excellent. I would defintely return.

The location near the freeway was convenient. The bathroom sink area was not behind a door making it bright if someone remained in bed after one got up in the morning.

Construction and bad service. I was treated very poorly. The grounds were under construction and there were workers all over the place beginning in the early morning. That was probably the worst motel I have stayed in ever. I am still angry about that arrogant little clerk who said it was not hotel policy to let us have two queen beds. I have had real good rooms through Priceline, and this was definitely the exception. You need to contact that motel and see what is going on.

Family friendly, roomy, kitchen facilities. I love the Marriott Residence Inns. They are roomy and family friendly. I love the kitchen, stove top, full refrigerator and the grounds are also family friendly. This location was perfect for the location to the airport.

We like it because it has a kitchen and it's close to the Catalina boat. The cost has gone up a lot so we are not likely to stay there any more. It's very pretty and they are always updating and keeping the garden looking pretty and it's in a convenient location for us. We like having a kitchen and fireplace in our room and a desk so my husband can do computer work.

Great kitchen area. Noisy party upstairstoo many teens. We've stayed at this hotel 4 times now. The first 3 stays were perfect, but there was noise until 2:30 am this last trip. I'll still continue to stay there. It was probably just a fluke.

Nice large rooms! Great breakfast for the price! We were very happy and would like to return on our next trip. Help was a little brief with us verbally, not much of a negative late at night. Our first choice when we return to the area! Everything for the business and vacation traveler.
