The Hotel was decent overall, except that we got caught in a bad room. The cleanliness and amenities in the room was ok, the bad part was the AC and bedding. The AC was making too much noise with no cooling effect. This made our 1 night miserable. The bed probably was too old, not firm at all. It sort of went into a boat shape in the middle making it extremely uncomfortable. The pillows were either too thick or too soft. The sofa was torn. Coming to the good part, the breakfast buffet was free and food was excellent. The hospitality was decent too. Overall it was a decent hotel for the price.

Good food in the evening reception. Shower steam set off smoke detector. There was an in-hotel store with a variety of foods (dinners and ice cream) for purchase if you feel like eating in. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable.

This is the first review i have ever wrtten, but I feel so strongly about tthe horrible expereince we had. The first night there was a horrible nose in our bedroom. I asked the staff about it the next day and was told they would look into it, but by the end onf the day was told they didn't get a chance off the air conditioning, and the noise stopped, but the windows were stuck so we couldn't even open them for some fresh air (this was in july!) the next day the service man arrived and we were told that the airconditioing was so bad in out room, that it could have set on fire! This was very scary to us, especial since our toddler daughter was also sleeping in this room. The manager refused to give us a discount, but we were told that we could move to a smaller room. The hotel didn't even have fans, and had to go to home depot to buy 2 (another room had the SAME problem).

Three of us (adults/family) had a two bedroom two bath suite with mini-kitchen, dining table and living area in between - plus 3 TV's, one for each of us. The sofa worked great with its pull out bed. Although we didn't cook "in" the kitchen was great for making coffee, keeping food items cold (full refrig) and washing glasses, cups, a few dishes. The building seemed very new, modern, clean, quiet and comfortable. The hotel was full, but it was very quiet inside. We weren't aware of any other guests. The two morning breakfast buffets (included in rate) were excellent and different with hot and cold choices, fruit, juices and beverages, etc. Great! Also, on Mon-Thurs they provide a social "hour" from 5-7pm. Nice snacks, and assortment of treats with a theme for each day. This also included your choice of beverages including two wines and beer! This was a great place to stay for a couple days, and it would be excellent for even longer stays. Nice indoor pool, plenty of parking. Hotel is not in center of town, rather on the edge of the town, but still easy to get to any other locations.

The rooms seemed to be soundproofed, good for sleeping. No free breakfast ; $7.31 for a bagel & beverage? OverallI was pleased with this hotel. I arrived around 3 am, and when the manager discovered i was alone, he upgraded me to a king-size room at no extra charge. Room service was very efficient, and there was a small balcony to step out upon. My bed was very comfy, andI felt absolutely alone, no residual noises coming from other rooms. I totally enjoyed my stay, although I did think paying for such a mediocre breakfast was too expensive. I would definitely stay there again!

Great facilities. The shower curtain was not clean/carpet nails were exposed. This was one of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed in and it was above our expectations.

It was very clean, spacious, the staff was very attentive. I couldn't stay long enough. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel has my business for as long as I can travel.

The rooms are fabulous! My daughter loved the pool and hot tub! The hotel is definitely in a business area, industrial area but not far to travel into town! The Residence Inn is a great hotel. The rooms are very spacious and we love having a kitchen! Beds are comfy even the pull out was fine. My daughter loved swimming in the pool and hot tub. We would definitely LOVE to stay here again!

The people were very helpful and warm loved this place. Hot tub chemicals were too strong. I liked it a lot, and would eagerly stay there again. We loved the area also, and plan on returning, and would absolutely stay at Residence Inn again - great breakfast too.

The work out room was way too hot and too small. I stayed only one night and the hotel was perfectly comfortable. It's in a bit of an out of the way place, so there's not a lot around, but there are plenty of restaurants within driving distance and for my business it was fine.

The front desk was wonderful! This was an all-around pleasant experience. The only drawback was that it is not in downtown Holland, but in the end the little bit of distance was well worth the trouble! Darlene at the front desk continuously went out of her way to help was with anything we needed, including extra check-out time and some room switching we did (because it was a wedding group and we had some special needs!) My friends and I highly recommend this hotel for any occasion, especially families!

Size of room. Very noisy. Walls were very thin. It was very noisy with very thin walls. Fire alarm went off due to kid pulling it (lasted 15 min) this was very loud and annoying. Slipped in the parking lot of the ice beneath the snow. No salt was laid down.

I enjoyed the comforts of having a fully functional kitchen available in my suite. The hotel, my room and the staff was great in every way. Any problems I had were with other guests. Someone let their large dog poop in the hall way and did not clean it up. The manager on duty cleaned it up herself -- since the hotel was kind enough to give most of the housekeeping staff Christmas day off.

They serve sandwiches and soups between 5PM – 7PM. The night staff did not know where to get pizza at 11pm. The room was great, the lady who checked us in seem to be having a bad day, a little short with us. When we came back after our concert, she was more friendly. Overall we liked our stay.

The kitchenette was very convenient. A little out of town, but easy to get to.
