Did not learn until check-in that there was a $100 unrefundable charge for pets. We have a small dog that is cleaner than a lot of the children who were staying there. I don't think they should advertise themselves as pet friendly when in fact they are not. I think the deposit should be refunded when there is no damage from the pet. Will not stay there again.

It was clean and well maintained. It was difficult turning in and out of the parking lot. I would stay at this hotel again and even seek this chain out on other trips.

The Marriott Residence Inn Fort Myers was very convenient to the express way and the local attractions. The room was large and clean. The included breakfast was more than adequate. I liked the fact that the bathroom was separate from the vanity area and there was a sink with a long counter and there was adequate space for hanging clothes . We would definitely stay there again.

Friendly staff, and good breakfast. Pets, barking rooms, ants in shower, security door broken. Don't like pets in rooms and they barked late into the night. Lots of ants in the shower and commode area.

The staff wasamazinglywonderful. The facility was clean, and had great ammenities (pool, basketball court, etc.). My telephone did not work in my first room and the airconditioner quit working . In my next room the telephones again, were disfunctional. The Residence Inn in Ft. Myers is very acceptable, with a wonderful staff (all shifts). Access to and from the highway would only be considered difficult by a timid driver, it was not a problem. I heard no air traffic noise from the nearby airport. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Some problems (AC failed, and my telephones didn't work), however the staff worked diligently to correct the problems. Overall, it was a good experience.

The included expanded breakfast bar was wonderful. Families with loud kids on the same floor.
