Room was very, very clean and outside is well lit. Room was not 3 star quality, old furnishings. The furnishings are from 1980 and the exterior is in need of repair/refreshing. You can hear everything that goes on in the room above you. The floors squeak every time someone moves up there, and it sounds like a 100 year old house.

The Residence Inn at Fishkill was very much like being at home. I rented the Penthouse Suite. It has a full kitchen, 2 baths, D/R, Eat-in kitchen, fireplace, two floors, etc... I was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the room. The location of the hotel was easy to find. Located near major highways, etc.. Plenty of shopping, restaurants and bars in the area. If you don't want to go out, the hotel will have a staff member go food shopping for you so that you can cook a meal in the room. There is no charge for this service other than the grocery bill. I will certainly book this hotel again in the future. It is extremely private and relaxing. When you book the penthouse, you really don't want to leave the room.

Free breakfast and dinner. Very tired and old hotel. Location was fine, the hotel is old and tired. I did not like that the rooms were in their own buildings away from the lobby. As a female traveler, I did not feel overly safe.

Outside sitting area. The bed was horrible. Very nice location, nice grounds. I would stay again. However, the beds were extremely uncomfortable if you sat on the side of the bed it tipped and I woke up with extreme back pain.

Excellent full breakfast with helpful, friendly help. No negative comments. We checked into the hotel and we were told that a light meal would be served at 6 PM. We went to the dining area and was surprised to find a complete meal. Salad, macaroni salad, nachos with hot cheese and all the rest, then baked white potatoes with bacon bits, butter, sour cream etc. Also cookies and coffee. At all times the staff were congenial and most helpful. A very pleasant stay.

Staff was wonderful. Room was spacious and clean. They took away the hot breakfast way too quickly. Huge, spacious and clean rooms. Front desk staff very helpful and went that extra mile. Would definitely stay there again!

The rooms were really spacious. It was sort of out-dated. I liked that the rooms were really clean and big, but I didn't like that the room was still in the 80s (i.e. furniture and appliances).

The fireplace was a nice touch and it was very convenient having a kitchen. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. The room didn't appear to be very clean.

Room was VERY clean. Bed was themost comfortable I have ever slept in. Location made me a bit nervous but it wasn't terrible.

It was very clean and quaint. I loved the kitchen! If in the area, I would definitely want to stay here again. It was quiet, comfortable and I slept well there. The staff bent over backwards to meet our every need.

Clean, friendly staff, roomy, comfortable beds. Vanity lights too bright/close to head of the beds in room. Great hotel, friendly staff, clean & comfortable, very roomy, complete with full kitchen and microwave. Would definitely stay here again!
