We came to Eugene for the Track & Field National Championships. The hotel was a 15 minute walk to the shuttle taking us to Hayward Field. We took a great walk from the hotel to a running path right across the street. The hotel was fabulous! All staff members were friendly and helpful. The room itself was perfect: kitchen area had all the amenities, bedroom had a large closet and vanity area, bathroom was large. My only negative was the loud and noisy air-conditioning unit. The free breakfast every morning was fantastic: eggs, sausage, waffles, pastries, yogurt, breads, fresh fruit. We spolied ourselves on a big breakfast every morning and then walked across the street and took a long walk along the Willamette River. I used the hotel computer in the lobby to print a copy of the track schedule and print my boarding passes. The front desk provided printed directions anywhere we wanted to go and we were close to the University, shopping, restaurants and Hayward Field. The hotel lobby had free newspapers, a "clubby, comfortable" feel, and large screen TV. I am sold on Residence Inn here in Eugene and will choose it elsewhere as well.

I was in Eugene on business several times this year. By far my favorite place to stay. I spent about 6 weeks (M-F) there and each visit was pleasant. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Rooms have microwave, refrig, sink, dishes, dishwasher, everything you would need. Work out room and equipment in good condition. Never tried the outside pool. The staff was always friendly and anxious to please. You know you travel too much when they know you by name at checkin and ask how the family is doing. Breakfast was very good, great selection with hot foods - eggs, sausage, waffles, fresh oatmeal... Evening "reception" could be a meal in itself with hamburgers, potato bar, nachos... always salad, beer and wine. Great location for walks along the river, McMinnimins across the street. Rooms backing to Coburg Rd could be a little noiser than others, but even they were not bad.

Touring colleges with my 17 year old, we loved Eugene, loved walking across the busy street to the river pathways and McNemanins for dinner(spelling wrong but you get the idea) but this hotel was terribly over priced and also right next to the freeway which was audible all night long. We stayed at Red Lions and Silver Cloud's elsewhere - accommodations just as nice, quieter, and more reasonably priced.

checked in very late due to flight and only took 5 minutes. went to buy a soda and beer in lobby and was told they still had beer in a keg so desk person gave me a pitcher for free. nice guster. free lobby computer use with printer, staples, paper clips ect. only place i would stay in eugene.

Very clean and welcoming. Not in the main drag of town.

Bed was hard and uncomfortable. The pool was an outdoor pool which was not mentioned. Therefore it was closed for the season. We chose this hotel for the pool and the kitchen. We didn't get to swim and the ice maker in the refrigerator was so loud it sounded like we were sleeping in the laundry room. Also the TV remote didn't work. The bed was a double instead of a queen and was extremely uncomfortable.

The rooms are lovely. We enjoyed having a kitchen, too. The Ducks v. Boise game made it challenging to get to the freeway. This is our second stay, and each time we go to Eugene (we have family there), we will stay at Residence Inn. The rooms are clean and lovely, the breakfast is huge and tasty, and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The location is great (except for the U of O game traffic), with a beautiful park just across the street.

Clean, updated, and friendly. Helpful front desk people. For a hotel room, it had the wow affect. We were glad to be spending the night there.

Spacious, lovely rooms with a very comfortable bed. Amenities were thoughtful. We liked everything about it. The location was beautiful, just across the street from the Willamette river and a lovely river walk. It was very convenient to the town. We were surprised that we had a kitchen, living room, and bedroom suite (2 TVs, no less). The decor looked new and was upscale. The full breakfast in the morning (included) was excellent, with a wide choice of foods. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We will stay there again.

I was able to bring my take out dinner to the hotel and eat in the kitchen. Construction is happening at the hotel. This was a wonderful hotel to escape for the weekend at. Loved the use of the kitchen and wished I could have stayed a couple of days more.

We loved that it was across the street from the river and there are beautiful trails every where. The one thing that really upset me was that they charged us $75.00 for our pet .I has never ever been charged over $20. My husband and I would love to come back, but will not because your charge way too much for a pet to stay in the room with us.

Huge rooms, excellent free breakfast. Lobby remodel was not mentioned before, cable TV went out for 12 hours, room too hot. The room was gorgeous, people went out of their way to be friendly and helpful, and food was excellent. I would totally stay there again.

Very clean, friendly, and close to the downtown. Cable went out, biggest element on the stove did not work. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. the things we needed done were attended to as quickly as possible.

Room was awesome. Breakfast room was too far away. Great place to get away for the weekend. Would stay again; look forward to the construction being finished.

Very clean and furnishings looked quite new. Highway noise could be heard. This hotel was much nicer and cleaner than similar priced hotels I have stayed at. I would definitely return there if I were in the Eugene area.
