The Residence Inn by Marriot Newark Elizabeth/Liberty International Airport was a nice place to stay with my family. Having the kitchenette was so convenient. The extra space is a plus with the kids. The bath and sink were separate with a nice closet. The only problem was with the pool. It needed to be cleaned and no one was doing anything about it. There were several people that were not able to swim.

The best hotel I have ever stay. Generally, this is the best hotel I have ever stay. Everything is clean, service is wonderful. I strongly recommend.

I stayed at this repeatedly last spring until I could no longer take the noise. They book a lot of tour groups, mostly young (teens and pre-teens). Often the rooms had no adults in them and the parties became quite loud. After a particarily bad stay, I was promised a quiet room the next time. But, the person making the promise never followed through and again I was stuck next across from a group on unsupervised teens. I will never stay here again.

This Residence Inn was not as nice as some we've stayed in, but it was adequate and the staff were very accommodating. There is a shopping mall near by, but you'll need a car if you want to do any extensive sightseeing; although the free shuttle will take you to the airport and you can get to NYC via train and PATH from Newark Liberty.

Spacious room with full kitchen and living room. Proximity to noisy airport and train tracks. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. We've stayed in other hotel chains in the area before and this was hands-down the best we've stayed at yet. The room was large and spacious, with a full kitchen and living rooms, and there was a generous, free breakfast supplied each morning. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a great hotel overall but there are some cons about it. There is constant loud noise and vibrating from passing aircraft and trains. The location sucks if you don't have your own transportation. It costs $25.00 each way to go to downtown Newark and return. It costs $25.00 to go Woodbridge Mall. Garden City Outlet Mall is a 5 minute walk from the hotel, shopping there was disappointing. There are only two places to eat near the hotel, Ruby Tuesdays and a new diner which serves typical American Food. There is a free Airport Shuttle that drops you off somewhere in the airport but will not take you to your departure terminal - this is useless if you have more than one bag. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The facility is clean and comfortable. There is a free breakfast which has good food and a free meal in the evening which is also good. The one improvement that this hotel could use is better shuttle service, ie the shuttle could take you to your departing area at the airport and it would be helpful for the shuttle to make runs to downtown Newark and Newark Penn Station. I stayed in a very spacious two bedroom suite and it was ideal as I was traveling with Kids. The bed was very comfortable. The suite had a stove and oven, microwave, refridgerator, dishes, pots and pans and a dishwasher. The only entertainment on site is the swimming pool. I would only recommend this hotel to people who have their own transportation. I wish that this facility was located in Downtown Newark.

The Marriott Residence Inn has many amenities like home. A full kitchen which is properly supplied, comfy beds and the toilet area is separate from the vanity area. Excellent coffee and coffee maker in the room and great Turkish towels toped off a great 6 day business stay. The only change I would make would be to replace all queen beds with king beds or two doubles if the reservation is made for two people.

Clean, comfy, fresh & friendly staff. There wasn't anything I didn't like! This hotel is perfect. I was pleasantly surprised. I felt I could have stayed there for weeks and have been very happy. The staff was excellent & so accomodating to any requests. I look forward to going back there again soon.

The Mariott Residence hotels come as close to being in your own home as anyplace we have found in our travels for business and pleasure. The full kitchen, comfortable beds and bathroom set-up are excellent. Internet connection is fast and easy. The staff at the Elizabeth location were helpful and caring. The added bonus is two tv sets - one in the bedroom and one in the sitting area - so there are no arguments about what to watch.

The room was nice. Construction at hotel was noisy. Parking was scarce. Our 7:30 wake up call came at 5:30! Construction at the hotel made it noisy and impossible to park.

Big rooms and friendly and helpful staff. It is a Residence Inn. What more need to be said.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The directions were easy to follow to get to the hotel; it is in a great location. There were security gates for our safety. The staff was very friendly. The full breakfast was amazing! The hotel room itself was more than I had expected it to be! The room was cleaned in the mornings perfectly! When we asked for services, we received them in a timely manner.

All amenities. Room did not get cleaned until after 4:30PM The first two stays were fine the last stay was disappointing because I stayed two days and the cleaning staff did not come until they were requested twice. I was in the lobby for over 1 1/2 hours until room was cleaned.

Good location. Poor maid service and linens. The sheets did not fit the bed. By morning they would not stay on the corners. The room was not cleaned until almost 5 p.m. The hotel staff was clearly not very glad to be there.

The staff in the eveningwas great. Too many loud kids. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I am glad that they know employee security on site. That helped with the loud children.

Large, open, and comfortable space. Distance from preferred location. Nothing to complain about. Comfortable bed, good breakfast, secure parking, and very close to excellent shopping!
