I enjoy the complimentary meals and personal touch you get from the employees. I can not think of anything I did not like about Residence Hotel. This is our second time staying in Residence Inn while preparing our move to Memphis. Everything was super and made the relocation so much easier. Thanks.

This hotel is within 50 feet of a very (VERY) active railroad line. The signs in the room say the train goes by "Sometimes", the definition of sometimes is 4-5 times a night, which wouldn't be so bad if the train didn't have to sound it's whistle as it was passing due to a very close crossing. Rooms are dingy and outdated, they're clean, but look run down. Breakfast is the same every day and is not prepared very well. Staff tries hard, but that doesn't make up for the condition and placement of this hotel. There are several other extended stay hotels that are within a mile of this that are in much better condition

First it is located next to a very busy train track and if your room is on that side of the hall you will not get a good nights sleep. We asked to be moved and that did not happen for us. My wife needed her rest after ear surgery, but that did not matter to them. The shower grout had mold/mildew on it. The movie on demand did not work in our suite and when I call to report it, I was told they could give me the number for the cable company and I could call for repair. When I asked for toilet paper when we discovered we were out, we waited two hours and I still had to go down personally to the frontdesk to find out why we had not gotten any sent up. The frontdesk person did not have an answer, but did go get me some. The only positive about the inn is the breakfast was good with friendly service and if you are wanting to be close to the Shea Clinic it is adjacent. Unless you need to go to the clinic there are plenty of other good hotel/motels in the vicinity. The experience began with check-in "I am sorry we cannot do that for you" and ended at check-out with " I cannot believe they did not get you moved". The can't do staff got old fast.

Stayed for two nights in a two bedroom suite. Rooms were spacious with closet space and a full kitchenette. However, upon turning down our sheetsa at 10:00 pm, we realized that the beds had not been changed from the prior occupant, as there was some pretty funky stuff on both of the beds. Can only guess as to what it was. The carpet had not been vacuumed as lint and small bits of paper remained on the carpet, and the soap, shampoo, and conditioner from the prior occupant was left in the shower. We called down to get a new set of linens, and although the overworkerd man who brought them up was friendly, he handed me some latex gloves and a couple of large plastic bags with the insturctions for me to "just leave the dirties in the bag outside the door and someone will pick them up." So our stay began with us getting to change the sheets on two beds. Overnight, we were frequently awakened by the passing trains -- literally 40 yards from the window of our room. Most traains didn't blow the whistle, but a few did. But the worst noise occurred at 1:30 or 2:00 each morning, when we were awakened by the trash truck collecting the large dumpsters from the interior decorator business next door (we were at the far east end of the complex). The beeping noise from the truck reversing and the bang/clang of the dumpster doors was definitely an unwelcome surprise. The staff was relatively friendly, complimentary breakfast was edible (although nothing special and typical of a hotel lobby breakfast) ... oh, and we were given a complimentary candy bar, an apologetic note, and offered free points (big whoop) for our inconvenience with the dirty sheets.

Nothing. The Hotel is right behind railroad tracks. This was a terrible experience. The trains were running all night. I couldn't get a good night sleep. The furniture was worn out and uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. I would remove it from your system or you can expect other un happy customers.

The price corresponded to the quality of the hotel. The hotel looked in need of renovation badly. The bathroom smelled of mildew. Most Residence Inns are well-kept and safe. I had an uneasy feeling throughout my stay.

The continental breakfast was excellent and the kids enjoyed the basketball court. Being close to the laundry room The residence inn is located in an excellent location. Keep up the good work on the breakfast selection. The room in which I stayed was very appealing.

The hotel was very accessible to eating facilities, banks and the place where we were conducting our business. I do not have anything to say negative about this hotel. As I stated above the hotel was very nice and convenience during my stay last week. The meals were timely and nourishing. The staff was friendly and helpful. I look forward to another stay at Residence Inn East in Memphis, TN.

Wonderful staff, great accommodations, nice breakfast. Horribly located next to a railroad track. We were in for downtown event and thought this would have been much closer than it was. As stated, the staff and the accommodations were wonderful. We were in town for events downtown and thought the hotel would have been much closer to downtown that it was. We failed to Map quest directions but hotel is so poorly located we had to call and get directions. The main problem we encountered was that the hotel is located adjacent to a railroad track. Other that that, if you're planning on being in the Germantown area, this is definitely the place to stay.

Good location and convenient to shopping and other attractions Rooms were not clean, several vehicles including ours was broke into, poor continental breakfast The hotel location was in a good place, however the cleaniness of the hotel was a turn off. A stinch was in the room the entire weekend and smelt like the tennants before us had gotten sick on the floor. The first night several cars were broke into including ours. The hotel staff was of little help when we reported the break-ins.
