Great facility, kind staff, clean room. Nothing. IfI have another chance to come here, I would stay again.

First time in Toronto and I would come back there again just to stay here. The staff hands down was the best part of this hotel. The management should be proud of their staff. We had a Studio and it was spotless. I honestly can't say enough about this hotel. It made my trip.. Great staff, clean, awesome breakfast and great location.

The hotel itself was new and well appointed. Hotel desk staff were courteous and pleasant. My chief complaint was with the valet parking. As I am not from Toronto and am not familiar with the parking situation in the area I felt compelled to use the hotels valet service. We had the car parked for our two day stay. It was not moved until our check out and subsequent drive home. On our arrival home I was extremely upset when I discovered that the front bumper cover had been cracked, grommets broken and the wheel well liner had essentially been destroyed on the hour and half journey back. I contacted the hotel and after 5 weeks of discussion, they told me that they would accept no responsibility for the damage. Beware if using this service. Check your odometer, do a walk around the vehicle and note any issues on both delivery of the vehicle to the valet as well on return of your car. This hotel would appear to regard valet damage as a lesser priority. I am now on the hook for $1500.00 damage to my van. Needless to say, I will be looking for other options for accommodation the next time I'm in Toronto.

Great location, we we never had to drive any where. Unbeatable price of the hotel for how nice it was. Very good breakfast included at the hotel. Overall had a great time and am definitely coming back!

Very nice room, spacious bed, bathroom, free internet connection, well equipped kitchenette. Residence Inn is conventiently located to downtown Toronto with numerous restaurants and cafes nearby. Gym is small but well equipped, nice pool and whirlpool, generous breakfast buffet, friendly staff, nicely decorated and comfortable room, spacious, with kitchenette and free internet.

This hotel was a wonderful surprise. We had a studio room, but it was a so cleverly designed. It had a kitchen area as you enter, a sitting area with very smartly designed furnishings to take advantage of the size and arrangement of the space. Then a bed off to the left, the sink area, and a separate toilet/bath/shower room. Internet access is free thruout the hotel and there are free computers in the fitness area and main lobby area. Also a small bar, and excellent full breakfast each morning. The night we arrived there was also a free dinner (we didnt' partake as we wanted something a little more gourmet) For families this is really a nice value. The fitness center is not much, but the equipment is good. An elliptical, 2 treadmills, 2 bikes, and a tv to watch. The pool is small but fine for families, and a nice hot tub. Great location, right in the entertainment district. I can't think of a single downside to staying in this hotel- oh, one thing. We stopped in for a late night glass of wine & brandy. This cost us 30! We thought it was too high and asked to see the bill, and with the taxes and our 5 tip, that's what it was! I'd ask about the price of wine before buying any there. With the full kitchen, you can buy a bottle in a nearby shop and enjoy in your room for much less.

The Marriott Residence Inn on Wellington street is right in the heart of the entertainment district and convenient to public transportation (union station an easy 10 minute walk). For those driving there was plenty of low cost parking available when we were there (weekend) that may not be the case during the work week. The room was great, shiny and clean; we were there only one night so we didn't take advantage of the full size fridge and cooking facilities; probably more suited to longer stays. Our window looked out onto the Rogers Centre and the CN Tower. The staff were friendly and the hot buffet breakfast next morning was fresh and appetizing. No problem recommending this hotel to others.

Welcoming, friendly staff from checkin to checkout. Everyone was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make us comfortable. There is absolutely nothing I can say negatively about this hotel. Staff was wonderful. They welcomed everyone to attend the daily buffet breakfast, even if they wanted to go in their slippers. (wonderful I might add)

The people are extremely friendly and helpful. The free breakfast buffet is INCREDIBLE! Everything you could want for breakfast is there. The fitness room teatures top of the line equiptment, very clean and complete. If you are in Toronto for the entertainment district, it is very convenient. Downtown walkable with family. Extremely clean, kitchen comes complete with microwave, dishes, cups, silverware, refrigerator, etc.. Nice supermarket that was open 24 hours/day was right around the corner (Rabbas is the name). Would stay again. Great value.

We reserved a king suite with seperate bedroom and living room as we had a friend from Chicago meeting us for a few days. There was only one bathroom and you had to go through the bedroom to get to it. So much for any chance of a romantic weekend ! Very poor design especially for business travelers.

I am amazed that this hotel only received 3 stars from the travel website. The rooms were gorgeous and the breakfast was incredible. The parking is very steep though, but that is to be expected no matter what city you stay in.

We stayed at Residence Inn late August. It was built this year (2007) and the rooms are immaculate, we got a one bedroom suite on the ninth floor and it was very tastefully decorated, just beautiful, the rooms look exactly like the pictures. It was in a great area as well as I was not afraid to walk around in the evening with my 5 year old daughter. WIthin walking distance of Via rail, CN tower, airport shuttle (in front of Fairmont royal york). Hotel staff was so friendly and the hot breakfast in the morning was delicious (tip: go early to avoid crowds, but if it is crowded, ask for a tray and bring the food to your room). The pool is about 4 feet deep all around so if you go with a young child, be sure to bring some sort of floaty device for them.I can't say enough about this hotel!

I loved how helpful they, the staff, were in accommodating me and my son. I didn't like that the crib they provided did not have a padded barrier as it was a metal crib. The hotel was great and the room was amazing. We could see the CN tower from the window. There's a mini convenient store, not much of a selection and a little expensive but you are paying for convenience. I loved that you could order a movie that's just between the movie theaters and going to DVD, it was awesome.

The staff was amazing from start to finish! Nothing! The location of this hotel was great. It was within walking distance to the theaters, Rogers Centre, and CN Tower. The service was awesome and the rooms were lovely and very clean. The pool was a decent size and the hotel gym was much better than expected. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate and the dining area was a good size - not squeezed into a little vestibule with no seating! I will stay here again - probably any time I am in Toronto - it was that good!

I was a suite, with a living room and kitchen. Staff had mother and child there while she worked, kid ran around everywhere. The hotel was amazing, it was set up in a suite style, cutlery, plates and glass, pot and pan included. Breakfast was buffet style with a waffle maker. Very good food. it was located in the entertainment district, close to prince of Wales and royal Victoria theater. Clean room, friendly staff.

Clean modern room. Pretty crowded lobby and first floor. Would be nice if it was connected to the underground but other than that this hotel exceeded our expectations.
