Great location right on the Riverwalk. You can walk to all the downtown tourist locations or hop on the free trolley right at the corner. Staff was so friendly. Rooms were very large and comfortable with a full kitchen. Note that you will hear noise at night from bands playing at nearby restaurants (summer only). Fun historic building. Note though that the top floor (8th floor) does NOT have the floor to ceiling windows that the other floors do.

This place is beautiful and the waffles at breakfast were deicious. The only drawback is that the ""suites"" do not have doors separating the sleeping areas.

Very clean, spacious rooms. We were pleasantly surprised at the convenience of location to summerfest. Very safe and short walk to and from the festival grounds. Parking was easy and there was a decent breakfast buffet in the morning. We will definitely book a room here for 2010!

Our family stayed here on vacation and we are not easily impressed by a hotel, but this one did. The hotel is historic and gorgeous. Our suite was very large and overlooked the Milwaukee River. Each room had 17-foot ceilings and a huge picture window. Breakfast was great and it had a very nice laundry room, should you need it. Definitely recommend!

The accomodations were wonderful with large rooms. The complimentary breakfast was great with a wide range of selections. The drawbacks were no concierge and a staff that provided little to no help in giving entertainment or place of interest information; and they charge ~13.00 a night to park- which isn't mentioned in the booking information.

What a pleasant hotel. Everything was great from the amazing room to the warm and friendly staff. This was one of the best hotels I have ever enjoyed. Stay here and be very happy. The breakfast buffet was also fab.

This hotel was close to both the Summerfest and Patowatami Casino. The room was very comfortable with great big windows to look out over the City. We will definately stay here again.

The lofted ceiling. The sauciness of the clerk. Great location, great rooms, perfect for business traveler. Our room had a kitchenette, a loft ceiling, and the bed was great. Nice seating area. We went there to have a night out in MKE and the location is near a lot of good restaurant and bars. Really good place over all.

Very friendly staff, spacious rooms, right in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. Hidden gem in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. Very close to a number of great clubs and restaurants without the hassle of driving. If you do drive, you're only minutes away from the art museum, lake front, Performing Arts Center, etc. The rooms are very spacious and modern and right on the money for a 3 star rating. If you're in town for a concert, event, or even just a weekend getaway, this is a great spot.

The breakfast and social hour being included. The underground parking was too complicated, did not have specified spaces for hotel guests. Everything was excellent, except for the parking. The underground parking is shared with an office complex and spaces are reserved for office tenants which are poorly visible being marked on the concrete only.
