"We needed a place to stay in charlottesville, my mother was in her last days at UVA hospital, we were changing our minds daily as to what our family needs were at the time, the Inn worked with our reservations, they gave us a room in a minutes notice, very understanding letting us cancel than make new reservations without causing us any stress or penalities, they gave us a wonderful rate. We are now recommending this hotel to anyone with or without pets, we happen to be traveling with a sick cat who needed meds daily and could not be left alone, a very stressful situation in all areas. Easy to find and clerk was helpful with a local grill for dining and Kinko's locale for doing business - also with local amusement directions.

"We have stayed in Charlottesville many times and this was our 1st time at the Residence Inn - and we had a wonderful experience. Staff was exceptional, breakfast was great and location was also very good, with easy access to walk to shops and food."

The apartment feel; great kitchen; wonderful hot breakfast buffet; quiet. We were traveling to a conference at Piedmont Community College; a one-night stay. Greeted by name by concierge. Room felt like a home-away-from-home. Friendly staff and easy drive to our conference the next morning. Easy location to find.

Hotel was very clean and staff was very accommodating. Location was great, near shopping and restaurants and in a safe area.

The location. The dining room is very small and cannot accommodate even a small portion of the hotel guests. The layout of the building was awkward.

Excellent location, nice room set up and clean. Nothing all was well.

Like the conveniences of kitchenette along with bedroom. Sofa bed was not very comfortable.

Breakfast selections were great! Only cardio machines in workout room-no weight training. This was one of our finer hotel experiences. Our room was impeccable and we loved the kitchen. The staff was so helpful and friendly, recommending restaurants, places to see etc. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the servers made us feel right at home. We will definitely visit again.

We loved the location and the amenities. There's really nothing that we didn't like. My wife and young daughter stayed here in Charlottesville, VA to break up a longer trip. The hotel was a great home for a few days and was perfect for all we needed. The kitchen was great, as we could save money by eating in. The hotel staff was friendly and dedicated to their jobs. One employee even grilled in the rain to provide the guests a scheduled hotel - wide barbecue. It's a great location, close to shopping, grocery stores, and local attractions.

Great continental breakfast included with your hotel stay. I am handicapped and I asked for a room by the elevator, and she did not meet my accommodations. Grounds, lobby, and hallway were clean, but the rooms were not that clean. It's a good place to stay if you have a family!

Very convenient to the Univ of Virginia & close to shopping. Can't think of any. Staff was very helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The complimentary full breakfast was very good. I will definitely try to stay here again when I go back to Charlottesville in mid July.

Rooms were attractive, clean and comfortable. This staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and attractive. The breakfast that was provided was very good including hot foods as well as the regular cold foods on a continental breakfast. I would recomend this hotel to family and friends.

The beds in the hotel room were fantastic. I couldn't believe how comfortable it was! The fitness room was very small with only one bike, one elliptical machine and a treadmill that worked. The hotel was great. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The bed was awesome! And the staffs were extremely friendly and polite. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to friends. Also it was right next to a wonderful shopping area with a large modern grocery store and tons of well-known shops and close to the University of Virginia and the Medical Center (in case of an emergency). Awesome place to stay!

The counter person at 3:15pm was very helpful with map quest for our next destinations and dining suggestions. I would have preferred an earlier breakfast time, 6:00 or 6:30 instead of seven. Clean and friendly. Helpful and courteous.

The rooms are excellent! None that I could find. This hotel provided an excellent stay at an exceptional price.
