	Date of Stay: September, 2008
Residence Inn - Capitol was the perfect hotel for a four night sightseeing trip. The rooms were well designed with a small but workable kitchen for dining in. Living area was well lighted and internet hookup was a breeze. The metro was 3 blocks away; 8 blocks from the Smithsonian and Mall. Value plus for the average traveller.

Comfortable and cozy, close to everything, yet quiet. Parking is extremely difficult; very easy to scrape any vehicle against the narrow walls of the underground garage. Excellent hotel, beautiful decor and pleasant customer service. Rooms were comfortable and cozy. It felt like home.

Stayed here for 5 nights on a trip with a friend. Although directly next to the hotel, there was nothing around, it was only a couple blocks away from the Metro, which could take you anywhere in the city. If you have a car, the parking is rather steep, but there we found parking nearby very easily. Close to all the sights, we had really enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly, had a free breakfast every morning, and if we got tired, we could come back quickly to rest for a few hours. There were plates, utensils, glasses, microwave, dishwasher, and even pots, pans, and a stove for those times we wanted to reheat our leftovers from the night before. Great way to save money on food! The only con I had was that the hotel was not that close to the nightlife or Duport Circle.. So if you wanted to go to any clubs, you would have to drive or take the Metro.

This is very convenietly located hotel--about a block and a half from the Metro and in a neighborhood that feels safe at all hours. The rooms are large and have stoves, refrigerators and microwave ovens. We will stay here again on our next trip.

Convenience to Metro and breakfast. We had only one night, but could have stayed a week. Residence Inn has all one could wish for for and more - popcorn was a nice touch.

" Family of 4... we all loved our stay, easy metro access we stayed 5 days flew into Reagen National, did not need a car, used metro or easy walk to many sights. Breakfast bar is awesome & dinners at night M-W were also good , hot cookies & cocoa or coffee each night in lobby & rooms were spacious & clean, every detail covered, comfy bedding , great hot shower, offered privacy w/ suite arrangement w/ 2nd T.V.my son loved the indoor pool at night & the in room nintendo---Would most def. stay here again, a good value overall, esp. for the location."

Pool. No restaurant or bar. Nothing was around the hotel for food or drinking. It was in close proximity to the national mall though.

"Construction ongoing adjacent to hotel, but we couldn't hear any of the noise. Close to the Washington Mall and most of the sites you will visit. We will be back."

"Hotel was great - suites easily accom myself, my wife and our 4 year old. Pool was small but good, good fitness centre. Location to museums and metra fantastic - just a short walk. Staff very helpful. Best dining option was taxi to Chinatown, or delivery"

"Stay here, you'll love it. Professional, helpful staff, Large clean rooms, all are suites. Priced very reasonable for DC . Very secure, must have room key to operate elevators, get to pool, laundry area etc. Within walking distance to Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. Breakfast could use more items, but they serve supper M-W nights, ice cream Thur night, and have a movie night Sat. Scary (very narrow) to get into underground garage. Large weight room, indoor pool. Large Laundry area on site . Only one restaurant close by. so go to Union station to eat supper."

The complimentary buffet breakfast. Very few retail establishments near the hotel. Pretty good mid-range hotel for a cost-conscious person. Being close to the Metro was key. The front desk staff was professional and courteous. One can hear various trains throughout the night and early morning (tracks adjacent to the hotel), so if a guest is a light sleeper. Overall a B+.

"Stayed for 5 days/4 nights. Another couple traveled w/us, stayed in a similar room. Hotel is close to a Metro stop and well-located for all DC attractions. Clean, new rooms; great meals; free breakfast a huge bonus; friendly staff. I've not stayed in a better hotel in a big city!! I will definately go back. It was a great value for my money."

Great location, close to many major destinations, yummy breakfast, clean, friendly staff. Outdoor view: Surrounding hotel were not pretty. My friends and I enjoyed the stay very much. Parking is easy and safe. Internet was free, breakfast was delicious. I must say though that Residence Inn near White House is a little bit better.
