We had a queen suite downstairs near parking and even with tons of kids staying there, (a baseball tournament and national track meet in town) it was quiet the entire 4 days. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was the usual fair but hot and good. High speed internet at no charge was definately a bonus. Kitchenette was great to have for cold drinks and extra snacks.

Location and free breakfast. No double beds.

Went to visit the U of Michigan. Had heard Residence Inn's are very nice, but was a little disappointed - especially for the price. It seemed a trifle shabby - I expected better. Room was a little small. Hallways didn't seem clean enough. The pool was incredibly small, and for some reason was only half full of water. Whirlpool was also woefully small and none too powerful. The check-in guy was excrutiatingly slow and at times seemed disinterested in customers awaiting his service. The hotel seemed packed, but the rooms were very quiet. The breakfast was very satisfactory, and our check-out lady was very professional.

The complimentary breakfast offered a wide selection, and was ready on time if you were trying to keep a schedule. The first room I was assigned to clearly had housed people with a dog, Well located. Clean, very good value for the money.

I've always liked Residence Inns. This one showed a little wear, but nevertheless was a good choice. I agree with the reviewer who said that the queen bed was smaller than your average queen. HVAC in this efficiency unit was quite loud but maintained temperature well. Room was pleasantly decorated and comfortable. Breakfasts were hot and much better than your average hotel 'continental breakfast'. Scrambled eggs, sausage, make-your-own waffles. Location convenient to several good restaurants and across from a shopping mall, plus right by I-94, and ten minutes from downtown.

Roominess of accommodations. Musty smell - odor in room. Obviously there have been pets in the room and the odor lingered - especially when the air was on. The room was clean but older - we have stayed with this chain on numerous occasions and were somewhat disappointed - rack in closet broken - but the staff was very accommodating and nice.

We stayed here for 5 days and it was a great experience. The hotel staff was professional and very helpful. The room was clean, nicely decorated, very roomy and had a lot of extras including a personal grocery shopper at no charge! The business area had the use of a computer if you didn't bring your own notebook, very convienient for e-mail and printing airline boarding passes. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Quiet location, nice kitchen, huge rooms, huge breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.

We checked in at 10:00 at night after driving for 5 hours and sitting in traffic. The evening check in lady was very rude. We then checked into our room whihc was ok - nothing spectacular and had to move rooms the next day because they had no available one bedrooms the first night eventhough when I called the day before they said they did. I wouldn't stay there again.

This is your basic suites hotel, but with all the immenities you may need. The rooms are good-sized with comfortable beds. The breakfasts were amazing, not your typical continental rolls and coffee

The room was a suite, had a fireplace, complimentary tea and popcorn and the hot breakfast was fabulous.

It seemed to be a timeshare resort rather than a hotel. Nothing. The check-in girl was very friendly as were all other hotel workers, the room was always freshened up during my three-day stay. The breakfast selection was excellent! I enjoyed the stay very much.

Amazing staff, very friendly and eager to assist. No indoor pool. We had a great experience from beginning to end. The staff was very friendly and well trained. We were greeted by everyone, from manager to maintenance staff.

Friendliness of people - breakfast buffet. Next to highway - bit noisy - hard to sleep. We appreciated the kind courteous people - they were very helpful and nice.

The location was convenient and the staff was extremely courteous. The towels were stiff as a board. There were no face clothes or wastebaskets. This is an ideal location for the business traveler or for a small family with young children.
