The Residence Inn Nashville was not quite what I expected, but it was nice. The room did not have a separate bedroom, which is pretty standard at most Residence Inns I have visited. The sofa bed (which was heavy) actually had to be moved in order for it to open up into a bed for my two children. We were very disappointed that we could not use the pool because apparently there had been some kind of accident in the pool and the chemicals needed time to clean the pool, but we appreciated the fact that the hotel staff accommodated us by giving us pool passes for the Marriott which was just up the street. The hotel staff was very apologetic, and I appreciated it since it wasn't their fault the pool was out of order and the accident was out of their control. The full hot breakfast available at the Residence Inn Nashville was wonderful. I was worried that since the hotel was so close to the airport that I would hear planes all night, but I never heard any at all.

Staff and security very friendly, very accommodating. It was very nice for the money. I had no complaints. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The first night there my husband and friend were without a car and the lady at the front desk called security to take them to the next available Hilton where food was available. That goes way beyond expectations!

Get accomodations. The room smelled of smoke. This is a nice hotel and in a great location. The accommodations were roomy and comfortable. The breakfast was substantial and the pool area looked very good. The room smelled of smoke.

Liked the cleanliness of the room and the GREAT free breakfast! The hot tub was disgusting! A lot of oil (lotion) in it with much dirt/bugs.

We had a graduation cookout using the grills and picnic tables under the shelter right by our room, which was wonderful. The breakfast was only served until 9:00 am on Sunday on Mother's Day, so many guests missed it. Overall a great place to stay in Nashville. The kitchen was well equipped and it was great to be able to eat in some meals rather than going out all the time. It felt very homey and the grounds were well kept. The layout made it seem more like a residential complex and not like a hotel. We liked it a lot.

Clean, awesome staff and beautiful grounds. Older and could use some updating. The rooms were really clean except the edges of the carpets by the walls; which can be pretty typical in hotels. The hotel was older but still in good shape. These rooms were more like little cottages in groups. They were really private and had lots of room. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was great! I would definitely stay here again.
