I went on a pilgrimage to Lourdes during the Jubilee (2-4 Aug 2008) with a group of around 50 persons from my town (Amadora, Portugal). We arrive at day 2 around 10 p.m. and the hotel had a horrible smell (the receptionist told me that were from the sewer), the rooms were very dirty, the sheet on all beds have not been changed since last client left the room and they hadn't clean sheets to put on the beds because I asked for. The beds were full of hair. The dinner served that day was also awful. Due these facts we didn't even sleep there and we went to another hotel Myriam/Angelic (also not recommend namely the Myriam rooms which use some card to open the rooms door) around midnight.

Have never stayed anywhere where the main bed is a pullout day-night lounge that you made up yourself. A spot for dishwasher but not there but other rooms had one. Had a room on the backside of building 2 and that was good. Had a good view of mountains in background. It had the feel of cheap build for tourist accommodation but for a couple of days it was tolerable.
