We especially changed from another hotel to this one because coming from a cold melbourne, the kids and my hubby and I wanted a heated pool. Well, the pool and spa were unclean and freezing and they kept telling us during our stay that it was to be serviced. Kids didnt get any enjoyment at all. And I had to clean the kitchen and coffee tables first before I could use the room. The roller beds for the kids were unbeleivably uncomfortable and the sofa bed, oh my god, are you kidding. I dare management should sleep one night on those beds. My kids slept with us, which I really didnt need this holiday. But saying all this, the location was fabulous and the king bed we had was as comfy as ever.

1. When I got there they had no record of my reservation -- I literally had to email my Orbitz receipt to them...twice...before it was sorted out. 2. They take a $100 PER DAY incidentals charge against your credit card the moment you check in. ("Hotel policy" they told me.) Besides the fact that there is no explanation of this on any of the Orbitz documentation about this hotel, this is a ridiculous amount of money when one is traveling on a limited budget, and it would be very difficult to spend $100 a day at this hotel when the rooms have kitchens! I complained because it tied up my available credit for several days, but they eventually did reverse it out. 3. Room was filthy/dusty upon check in. It was clear it had not been dusted in quite awhile.

Proximity to Harbor for good price. Mold in the shower ceiling. Great studio apartment. Kitchenette facilities. Balcony overlooking the Harbor bridge. Excellent complimentary breakfast. Great location in terms of the Rocks, Harbor and Downtown. Excellent price. Highly recommend.

Great room with an excellent view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Worth spending that little bit extra just for that! Otherwise, well serviced accommodation and an excellent location for access to all tourist hot spots.

Not luxury, but a very comfortable studio with kitchen and partial view of Sydney Opera House. The Rocks area is the perfect place to stay--convenient to all places of interest as well as easy walk to City Center and Darling Harbour. Would definitely stay here again. Get a room on floors 4, 5, or 6.

Excellent location Did not honor free breakfast quote, no wireless Internet access The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect -- The Rocks are loaded with historic buildings, nice cafes & shopping, and close to all attractions and transportation. It was nice being able to stay in a quiet neighborhood which allowed for much more exploration of the city. The hotel however, while functional, didn't quite match up with its billing. I was quoted free breakfast when I booked the room, but there was no record of this at the desk & they wanted to charge me $12.50 per day for a mediocre buffet. Also, no wireless Internet access was available despite being advertised -- when I inquired at the desk, the answer was they used to have wireless access, but this was removed. The rooms were larger than average & well kept, although with room for improvement. All in all, a solid 4-star hotel & a decent value for the price considering the other options in Sydney.
