The Rendezvous Observation City Hotel Perth is a beachfront hotel that overlooks the Indian Ocean. It is the only resort hotel located on the popular Scarborough Beach.

The hotel is conveniently located near Port City of Fremantle. Not only is it nearby the beach, but it is also a short distance away from AQWA marine park, Rottnest Island and Swan Valley.

There are 333 guestrooms that offer panoramic views of the ocean, many of which have private balconies. Rooms also come with living supplies like irons, hairdryers and modem and data port connections. Additionally, there are pet accommodations, a mini bar and cable and satellite TV.

Stayed here twice now for business, and each time have seriously considered whether it is worthwhile. Whilst it may be closer to where I need to work, the 5 star hotels in Perth offer better quality - and more modern rooms and facilities and especially service (which I have found to be quite poor both times) for similar prices.

I have stayed at this hotel 6 times. I used to really love it and it is a lovely hotel. It is in dire need of upgrading and used to be 5 star quality but is now maybe a 4. The bathroom's are particularly aged now. The view from the ocean view rooms are second to none and staff are fantastic. The buffet breakfasts at the Pines bistro are wonderful as is the buffet dinner there. The pool/spa area is smallish but lovely. Also it's nice to get a room that opens out onto the pool area if you can't get ocean view. The spa rooms are lovelier :) I would definately stay again and had my first stay there in 1997 and my last was in 2006, thinking of going back for Christmas.

Ideal base for the beach or exploring the city. Easy drive to the city centre and buses from outside the hotel. Great views and facilities.Local restaurants good and lovely walks from the door.
