I booked our room at the last minute and was impressed with the accommodations. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a view that overlooked the city. The hotel was within walking distance of French Quarter, Riverwalk and the Superdome.

This was a great hotel. Close to bourbon and all of French quarter. Nothing. This is an excellent hotel. Would love to stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here during The French Quarter Festival and were not that impressed with this hotel. It was nice and clean and the staff was excellent, but we had a stand up shower that leaked VERY badly everytime we took a shower. Parking was expensive($30 a day) but that is almost everywhere in the quarter. It was nice but expected more for a five star hotel. We will probably return to The Shereton or The Bienville House next time. But we would stay here again if our favorites were booked.

The biggest dissapointment were the dingy bathrooms and that it was not in the French Quarter as listed in Travel agency. I would stay somewhere else for a few dollars more next time.

The stay was horrible from the start. I reserved a deluxe room with 2 queen beds but when I arrived the only room left was a tiny room with 1 full sized bed and no sun light for 2 people. We bumped into one another at every turn. The service in the adjoining restaurant was terrible.

Rehabbed classic building very close to the French Quarter. Smallish pool and lobby. Very nice high rise close to the French Quarter. Convenient to everything in NOLA.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. Driving in at night was somewhat tricky with the parades going on and it being on a one-way street but the service was just fine and we enjoyed our time there. The car was always available to us when we needed it which was daily. Parking attendants were prompt. Rooms were clean and staff was very helpful. We would stay there again

Some New Orleans hotels can be a little sketchy, especially post-K. This hotel is clean, elegant, modern, and has a friendly and helpful staff. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are large and roomy enough for several people to be getting ready at the same time. It's very centrally located right on the edge of the French Quarter, close to Canal Street. Rooms aren't enormous, but I've definitely had smaller and more-cramped rooms in other NOLA hotels. Also, the toiletries are a cool high-end brand "Lather." Recommended.

This was a great hotel, and even greater location. Right down from all the chaos of bourbon, but you wouldn.t guess because its so quiet around the hotel. Only complaint would be the big hole in our window, but it wasn't a big deal. Overall great experience, would defiantly go back.

They upgraded me to nicer room because they gave away my rm the 1st night! Great hotel. They put me on the top, club level to make up for the mistake.

I recently stayed at the Renaissance Pere Marquette for business meetings in New Orleans. The hotel's location is excellent. It's like an sanctuary in New Orleans' bustling business district. It is only one block from the French Quarter. Everything is within walking distance of the hotel. Yet it seems like a world away. The rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was huge and stylish with marble floors. From the front desk staff and the room service attendant to the amazing bar tender at the lobby bar, every staff memnber was gracious and genuinely glad that I was there. I will definitely stay at the Renaissance Pere Marquette in the future.

The hotel was fine. My problem was the street leading to the French Quarter did not have street lights on so the walk was very dark and spooky. We were a group of women and because of this I wouldn't stay at this location again.

The hotel was great - not only was the location great, but it was very nice, comfortable, quiet, and great service. Would highly recommend!

I stayed here for 2006 Jazz Fest and was absolutely pleased with everything. They had a few problems post Katrina but were doing their best to make up the difference and the staff was amazing. I will stay there again this year.

I stayed down the road from this hotel and wanted to try it for myself because I'd heard great things about it. I was quite impressed. There's a lot going on (room service, bar, restaurant downstairs) for a "boutique" type hotel close to the Quarter. I loved the room, lighting in the room, fragrant hallways, computer access to print out boarding passes -- absolutely everything. Everyone was so personable and made me feel special, more special than any NOLA hotel I've stayed in thus far. I will definitely return.

It was very stylish! Great place! Easy to find! Would love to stay here again.

The Renaissance Pere Marquette is beautifully decorated with a blues music theme throughout the main areas and a uniquely New Orleans theme in each room w/ photographs of the city adorning the walls. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was large - big enough for 2 people to use even though there was only one sink. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and provided great recommendations on sights and restaurants. The best part of this hotel is the location! It is only blocks from the French Quarter - providing easy access to some of the city's best offerings - but far enough away to provide a retreat from the crowds.

Very convenient location to major attractions and transportation. Guests must pay $28.00 daily for parking. My experience at the hotel was fantastic. Most impressive was the friendliest, care and concern was beyond expectation. My 5 year old got ill and we took in a movie. Of course we had to have popcorn, according to my 5 year old. The staff sent out to a local store (1/2 block) for microwave popcorn ($1.50) and delivered a microwave to the room (no charge). The hotel does offer in-room babysitting.

I had some problems being charged for parking, when I didn't have a car. The staff wasn't fully trained yet, so there were a few other problems with toilet maintenance and making a future reservation. The hotel is nice and was in a convenient location for me.
