The best way of transportation would be the tube - Piccadilly line which you can get to from Hatton Cross station. You can take any of the red buses opposite the hotel (285, 55,423) they are free of charge; get out at the Hatton Cross station and get the tube.
What can I do nearby?: There is a Town called Windsor; it is a very attractive Touristic place and is not that far from Renaissance Hotel; it is just 15 minutes far by transportation. There are also museums and a theatre.
