The room-rate and accommodations were superb. Check in was easy and the young man at the front desk was both congenial and knowledgeable. The only negative to my experience was the older blonde lady at the front desk who found it more important to converse with someone about a custody dispute (extremely inappropriate!) than to check me out of the hotel. When she finally held the phone to her chest and huffily asked my room number, she shoved the receipt at me without further remark. My Mother lives near Salem, but I wont stay there again. This disrespectful check out was unprofessional and ruined my stay.

Nice Place!! Enjoyed the mini-suite at a reasonable price as we had two couples staying together & it made it very comfortable.

Good continental breakfast, nice to have a pool and hot tub available 24 hours. Pop machine was all sold out and the hotel store was out of drinks too. Great hotel - even greater to get it half price!

The Wittenberg Inn was very well kept. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had 9 people staying in various rooms for my niece's wedding. We stayed at the inn for 5 nights. The extended Continental Breakfast was awesome. We met their new Chef. He takes a personal touch with the customers and staff. Fresh Croissants and other pastries made onsite. The scrambled eggs and potatoes were hot and flavorful.

This is one of the very few particularly nice hotels in Keizer -- otherwise you're pretty much stuck with something in Salem further south and east. The hotel is back about a block behind some strip malls and fast food stores. While this means there isn't much of a view from the rooms, it does make it easy to find and it does look just a bit regal relative to the rest of the surroundings. The hotel itself looks good and the staff was friendly. The beds were quite comfortable, and the continental breakfast was quite tasty albeit a little lukewarm. The hotel has been there awhile and does show some signs of wear, but on the other hand its clear that money has been spent to try to keep it in as good repair as possible given its age. Hence, it's not new enough to get that new hotel experience nor old enough to be a vintage, classic experience, but it is a decent middle-aged hotel. :-) We slept quite well... the pillows are big and fluffy!

Our second stay in two weeks. Very pleased and extremely satisfied as guests. This time, we brought our kids with us and they enjoyed the 24 hour access to the indoor pool. Very family friendly! Breakfast attendants were very nice and friendly.

Great room - 2 queens, sofa, small table chairs. Very spacious. 10.00 charge to change rooms from 1 bed to 2 beds. Our Equestrian Team all stayed here. We really enjoyed one evening of relaxation in the pool and hot tub. Great breakfast! Staff all friendly and accommodating.

When we arrived my son and I were very tired it was 5 am and the staff at the hotel were awsome in getting us checked in. When the desk clerk found out that we were there due to a death in the family he informed me that we were to get the brevence rate. The rate we had was way under what I thought it was going to be anyways but this helped even more. When we got into our room it was clean, roomy it took no time at all to start to relax. The pool and hot tub were clean and just the right in temp. Breakfast was very enjoyable execially the waffles. my favorite. I would recommend the Wittenberg it was the best stay I ever had, and I lived in and out of hotels for two years due to my job.

Staff was wonderful -- helpful and courteous! Breakfast was great! No towels in pool area; have to ask desk, only 1 TV remote. The staff was the real stars of the hotel. They were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable, although the sofa/bed was old, not as comfortable as it could have been. The regular beds were very good. It is more a business class/conference facility -- but it is also very family friendly. The pool was well maintained and clean and open 24 hours which was perfect. It would have been nice not to have to ask for towels at the desk -- most hotel pools have towels by the pool. The flooring material (sharp pebbles in concrete) was hard on bare feet, but completely non slippery. The continental breakfast was more of a full breakfast buffet. There was fruit, cereal, coffee, juice, waffles, bagels, pastries, muffins, eggs, potatoes, and egg 'cassarole' type omelets. Wish the shuttle had been free to take us to the new Kaiser shopping center. We had to wait 45 minutes for a cab and it was a little expensive. Next time we'll rent a car and take advantage of the free parking.

Everything was housed in the hotel with no need to travel outside for anything. This was our last night on the road before heading home. Everything was PERFECT and the hotel restaurant was very reasonable and the food was awesome plus we didn't have to get back in the car to go eat. Outstanding service and a superb breakfast was included the next morning. I wish I could stay here every time I travel.

The best heated indoor pool ever and the breakfast was also excellent. The first room we went to had been used. It was a good hotel and the breakfast was great.
