$5 city room tax/night, unexpected- for clean room and this price would get you very little. The hotel is very near Kloten Airport but without nearby restaurants and services and is most suitable for business people who can stay on the premises and get their meals etc. On the other hand a thrifty tourist is only 20-25 minutes to main train station by frequent tram that runs across the street.

One of the nicer airport hotels in Zurich. The beds were up to the usual Reniassance standard, but there are NO extras. Toll free calls are 4.00 each, local calls are 1.00 per minute, no coffee in the lobby, none of the extras that make a luxury hotel worth the extra. Nice rooms and great beds. Staff is OK, but again the luxury was not there. For example I could get no information about Zurich cultural life and offerings. The food was only OK.

Good location with access to rail to downtown. Very clean and friendly, have to pay for internet and business center services. I am not accustom to this.

Excellent airport hotel near the Zurich Airport. Very luxurious and comfortable. The hotel is dead center in an industrial office complex. As a result, there are no restaurants or shops nearby. The 11 line tram takes you directly into the center of Zurich in approx. 20 minutes. Would recommend the hotel as a stay over for an early/late flight. Otherwise, it's only 10 minutes by train to the center of town.

Great hotel near the airport. Very business oriented but also great for travelers needing a comfortable place to sleep before a long flight.

The hotel is convenient to the airport, clean and comfortable. I'd probably stay there again, because the price is good for the location.

The hotel was in a convenient location right next to the train. However, I would have liked for more shopping areas to be in walking distance. Overall, the hotel was wonderful.

Very nice hotel. Close to the airport. A short tram ride to Zurich city center. Staff was very responsive, friendly and helpful. The restaurant was overpriced. The room was very, very quiet.

The Renaissance Hotel Zurich met and exceeded expectations, an excellent end to a great trip thru five countries. Although our stay was short, we were treated similar to long-term guests.

We liked the Renaissance Hotel Zurich so well that we ended our trip to Italy a day earlier than planned so we could enjoy it an extra day. We liked the plush, relaxing environment and the friendly, yet professional, staff that were always on their toes seeing that you are satisfied!

The hotel is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from the airport, in a business district. It takes about 20 minutes to get to downtown Zurich using the tram stop that is in front of the hotel. The pool, hot tub, and fitness area were great. The lobby has a koi pond and is amazingly beautiful. I would definitely stay here again if we were ever back in Zurich.

The Renaissance Hotel Zurich is geared towards business travelers. Having to sleep in a room where everything smells of smoke truly cut into the overall experience of our stay.

Perfect for the business traveler who want to be near the ZRH airport. I should note that due to a premature departure from Switzerland.
