The hotel staff informed me that when my room was ready when I showed up early. Check in time was 4 pm. My stay was outstanding, I was rather busy and did not see what all the hotel had to offer.

Very friendly staff and rooms were great! Self parking is expensive for paid guests! Everything was great and had a great time. Did not care for the high priced self parking. Wouldn't have minded paying as much if the parking deck was closer to the lobby elevators. Also, the first 3 levels of the parking deck were reserved for valet parking.

Ambience and attentiveness of staff. Parking fees should be waived for guests; complimentary breakfast would be nice. Beautiful decor, exquisite river views and personable staff make the Renaissance an appealing choice. Guests must pay for parking (at these rates why nickel and dime customers) and the area isn't exactly crime-free. However, the sheer beauty of the facility and the warmth of the staff go far in mitigating any shortcomings. I loved it and plan to return!

Great service and beautiful rooms. Good food too. I have visited this hotel twice recently and it was excellent both times. I brought my family from England to stay at the Renaissance as it was so enjoyable. They were very impressed!

The Southern Hospitality and hotel decor. Lack of restaurants in the area. I recently stayed at here for their grand opening and Alabama Music Hall of Fame induction ceremony. At that time, a few things needed to be tweaked to accommodate guest, the signage wasn't posted for every door and corridor. But now, seven months later, signs are posted and the staff is still as friendly as opening day. This stay, I got a view of the river and it was nice! I would recommend it to a friend to stay there.

Fresh appearance, unique decorating, very modern gym, plush appointments. The elevators took too long for use. Easily taking 5-10 minutes to arrive. Very friendly staff, great appointments. Upscale hotel. Gym is extremely nice.

Very retro and upscale for Montgomery Alabama. Customer service (e.g. house keeping) slow to respond to requests. Very nice upscale hotel in downtown Montgomery. The rooms were clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. I will definitely return.

My favorite was the bathroom, which was large, and had a separate shower. No continental breakfast, and had to pay $10 a day for internet access. Very large hotel and the outside swimming pool were great too! Didn't get to use the spa, but will have to check it out next time.
