Big disappointment. Over-priced and over-rated. Outdated moldy rooms and TVs. Expensive parking with unsafe pedastrian access.

We stayed for one week while in the process of moving to Italy. Excellent service upon arrival, we asked for a room change the first day and were placed in a 7th floor corner room w/balcony and view of the harbor, new castle, and rooftops of old Naples. One block to via Toledo the main shopping street and easy walks to Chia, Spaccanapoli, and funiculare to Vomero. Hotel restaurant was excellent.

The staff and location of the Renaissance Hotel Mediterraneo Naples makes it a MUST STAY! Centrally located to shopping and tourist attractions and the best food around! Try this hotel for a treat that you won't forget! This will be my fifth time to stay there. The view from the roof top restaurant makes for a beautiful postcard or calendar page for 2008. We have stayed here thru several ownerships, but must say that it has kept its charm! We highly recommend it!

Staff was helpful in selecting my room and advising restaurants and a travel agent for my next stop up the coast.

Very good hotel and excellent location. However, our stay was tainted by the fact that the front desk told us breakfast was included with our stay, but we ended up being charged EUR 15 each for a standard continental breakfast. The response from another member of the front desk was this was miscommunicated by his colleague and we had to pay for the meal. VERY POOR SERVICE!!!

The Renaissance was a very lovely modern hotel in a good location near shopping and restaurants. The staff was helpful and we arranged our Pompei and Capri tours through their brochure at the desk. It was lacking a complimentary breakfast like we had in Rome and Florence with our hotels. For the price we paid at the Renaissance we felt they should also offer breakfast. We did however have complimentary coffee/tea on the weekend. Their prices were rather high at their restaurant for breakfast. We discovered a cute little coffee shop nearby. We enjoyed their cocktail lounge after a long day of wonderful sightseeing. Definitely recommend the Renaissance Hotel Mediterraneo Naples.

Very good situation in Napoli. The breakfast on the terrace of the 11th floor overlooking Napoli was especially pleasant. It would have been good to be able to book a room on a higher floor. I would ,without hesitation, stay in the Renaissance Hotel Mediterraneo Naples again.

Room was very noisy. We could hear the neighbours and the kids. On top of that the service phone in the corridor was ringing very early in the morning. As of the second morning, I just made sure that it would not ring. The people at the reception were just incompetent. It was a pity as it was for our 10th years wedding anniversary. Naples is a nice town and we will remember the town, not the hotel.

Staff at the hotel was extremely helpful; Francesco who worked at the bar and breakfast buffet was very friendly and provided us with excellent service and helpful hints on places to go and things to see. Would highly recommend the Renaissance Hotel Mediterraneo Naples to anyone visiting Napales. The view from the 11th floor is breat taking. Thanks for making this vacation very memorable.

The room had no view and looked into the opposite building. I am unsure whether better rooms are given to guests booking directly. Breakfast average for a 'deluxe' hotel, but view from breakfast terrace fantastic.

A good value for money. The rooms were spacious, the bathrooms more then pleasant and a garage below the hotel a real plus in Naples and in the area of the hotel, which is conveniently located close to the port and near many other tourist locations.

Very good modern hotel with very nice public areas and decent sized rooms. As for the surroundings - Naples is probably the only place in Italy which I've been but will never go back to, we just did not feel safe - the hotel can't be faulted though.

An oasis of calm in a hectic and noisy city. The hotel itself is somewhat impersonal but the staff are friendly and speak English, which is more than most Neapolitans! It was a pity the porter could not show us how to use the room safe and there were no instructions in the main European languages, though we eventually guessed from the Dutch instructions. The views over breakfast in the roof garden are impressive. The hotel is not in the main hotel area, more a commercial one, so there are few nearby restaurants.

The Renaissance Hotel Mediterraneo Naples was excelent value, quality/price. Only two problems, we had a service telephone outside of our bedroom door which woke us very early in the morning, also the restaurant didn't have the full menu available and we weren't advised of this until we were about to order. Location of hotel was excellent and I would certainly recommend it.
