Location. Recepitonist was rude, room was dirty.. Can you imagine the AC was dripping water for the whole night, the tab water was colorful, the toilet has stain everywhere. The receptionist was not friendly and seemed very angry with us because we checked in in the early morning. We will never be back there anymore.

Whilst they have two different building, with one more exclusive and the other for economical traveller like me, unfortunately it has same rm numbers. How would anyone bothered to find out which wing a guest stayed as long as its renaissance! I've booked thru travel agency and tot its a great deal when i went up to the room to find out i have a view overlooking the cemetry. Room is old with funny smell, stain on pillow and bedsheet. The only exception are the friendly receptionist.

I liked the prompt service of the hotel when something was defective and it was fixed in a timely manner. Me and my wife stayed at Renaissance for 3 nights for our honeymoon. We stayed in East wing of the hotel. The lobby was beautiful and the hotel staff was very nice and courteous from the get go. I changed the 1st room to deluxe and it was well worth it. We got a fabulous view of the Petronas towers from our window. The room almost had every amenity available and was very clean and comfortable. My wife loved the mini dressing table with the mirror. The concierge was very helpful and gave us all the info we required about local attractions and shopping areas. We didn't have time to use the pool, but it looked beautiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Nice location, and the room condition was clean with fresh atmosphere,Meanwhile, i was impress of the hotel room view, which KL petronas twin tower can be seen so clearly adn the scene was excellent.I will saty in this hotel again.

Great location with great amenities - fantastic pool. Very poor breakfast compared to other far east Marriotts.

The staff in the lounge in the west section was very helpful. The rooms are horrific for what you pay. The elevators don't work half the time and the cards don't open the doors. Truly one of the worst experiences of my life.

Location. Inadequate quality; broken fixtures. Room phone was broken upon arrival. Closet light would not shut off/broken. Loud dripping noise coming from behind wall. Only one outlet was able to be used - and it was not near the desk - therefore, I could not plug in my laptop while working. Internet would not connect. No hair dryer, no hair conditioner.

Friendly staff, good location, rooms are clean good facilities. A bit noisy in the surrounding areas. This hotel is within vicinity of the tourist area but you still have to walk 2 blocks to get to Twin towers and other shopping areas. It is not good for elderly to walk. However taxi is convenient and it doesn't cost a lot of money especially if you are in a group of 2.

Excellent views of KLCC. Next to Monorail Stop. Great location for restaurants/walking. Unable to open windows for fresh air in most of the rooms. I loath AC air conditioner. This hotel is one of the better situated in KL. From the East Wing the rooms have straight on views of KLCC. I had a bay window room this time and it was superb!

The lobby was very grand. Nicely decorated and very impressive. The rooms are very dated (old) I like modern rooms so this was quite disappointing. Too much use of wooden ornate furnishings. A little far from the main drag. But close to Bukit Nanas Stop. Lobby is very impressive, until you get to the rooms themselves which are quite old and outdated. Still acceptable but definitely not modern. Staff was very friendly. I don't think I would like to stay here againthere are better hotels in KL.

Was close to the KLCC and public transit as well as other places. The hotel serve called a very expensive taxi service. The hotel is located close to down town Kuala Lumpur. Its near two mass transit systems, the hard rock cafe, as well as other local and popular eateries. Its a 5 minutes walk tops to the KLCC located in the Petronis towers, the largest building in Malaysia. Spectacular views from my hotel room as well! I stayed there two times on this trip to Asia.

Excellent location, nice pool. Room is 3 star at best, not so clean, several broken things that needed attention, very poor front office staff. Good location but poor service, very poor room quality.

Great pool and fitness center. Interior of the rooms are very poor - not a good representation of the Marriott brand. The facilities of the Renaissance give it a 4-star rating, but the interiors are more equivalent to a Best Western or Quality Inn. Wall paper falling off, stains all over the carpet, musty shower curtains, sofa you don't want to sit on because it seems dirty and worn, and old bedspreads that look dusty and in desperate need of a good wash. Overall - don't recommend staying here. If you do, expect a 3-star quality room and then you'll be fine.

Very clean with complete amenities. The best part was the gymnasium and sauna/Jacuzzi. Big rooms. Staff could be nicer and more competent, less calls and disturbances. Great location, big rooms, great view of Petronas Tower, and loads of nice amenities. The gymnasium was the most complete I have seen in any hotel, and the pool was nice too. Liked it so much, that we stayed two extra nights. The monorail was across the street, which made exploring KL easy.

Good value for the money: Petronas twin towers and related malls are about 10 minutes walk. Not close to good restaurants. Staff is helpful.

Location. It needs some refurbishment. A pleasant stay with a good location.

Location is right next to KL Monorail station making it easy to get around KL without taxi and traffic. The East Wing of the Renaissance Hotel, while nice, is in need of room remolding. The Renaissance hotel is actually comprised of 2 wings - the actual Renaissance wing and the East Wing. The East Wing which is actually a star lower in luxury. The rooms, while nice, are showing their age and in need of remolding. The property, however is 4 star deluxe. Great pool, wonderful location, helpful staff.

Nothing. The hotel was dirty. The room was a smoking room with two single beds. The carpets were seriously stained & dirty. The beddings were dirty and there was a stain on the pillow case. The washroom was dirty. I advised management of these issues and was offered another room that was equally dirty and had roaches.

Big swimming pool, location, grand lobby, staff was attentive. Room was old and worn, need refurbishment. Nice hotel at great location near Mono rail station. New World Wing is the former name, today it is called East Wing. West Wing is apparently newer and rooms are great. Rooms need to be refurbished as they are a little old and worn.

Friendly staff and convenience location. Did not provide sufficient bathroom needs such as hair dryer. In general it is very nice hotel for business traveler. the executive floor is well maintain with very nice view to the city.
