Date of Stay:

I had a small, comfortable, clean room, decent late-evening supper from room service, easy check-in, etc. Just what I needed upon arrival at Heathrow.

pleasant overniterThe hotel exterior is a little grubby looking for what I expected for the normal price (especially the unattractive open smoking area out the front - and I am a smoker - maybe a small, gardened off, more private area would look better as smokers are going nowhere regardless of laws) but the grubbiness is probably because of all the air traffic at Heathrow . Lobby/bar/lounge area very nice, clean and tidy. Room was very cosy and clean, the bed was super comfortable and no lingering cigarette smells in a smoker room. I couldn't work the shower out but after hostel living for 3 days previous the extra deep bath and boiling hot water to soak in was all I cared about :) No ice in the fridge and no ice bucket to get it from the machine was a let down as there was no where to chill my juice, unless I wanted the drinks from the weird little fridge. It was a little disconcerting to make an early morning run for a cup of ice and to see a guest arguing with the maid service that was cleaning out his room prior to his check out and removing his personal items, especially as it was 4 hours before the official check out time. I put a sign on my door to prevent them walking in on me. Front desk staff and bar staff very lovely to deal with. Few people would ever holiday at an international airport but for a stopover night it was fantastic.

Good price, very close to heath row, Was able to check in at 2 pm. Internet access was expensive one UK Pound for 10 min. Overall a good hotel. I drove there and missed the signs directing me into the parking lot three times!

As we were wanting a hotel near Heathrow, the Renaissance served our purpose very well. Even though it was opposite the main run way, we did not hear a thing. It was a very comfortable hotel to stay in and the link into the airport terminal was good.

I arrived after midnight for a one night stay on a business trip. The hotel was easy to get to and full of 4 star hotel activity. Staff was extremely helpful and searched hard to put me in the one remaining and in-demand room type that views the runway. Stunning! Downside: hotel is streched out along the heathrow runway so very long walk to room. In my case my key didn't work the first time, so had to walk all the way back. Very smokey smelling room and very expensive services/add ons. This place is not for eveyone and I might not go back on account of the smoke and the uncertainty of getting a room with a view. But I treasured my evening there on a one time basis and recommend it highly to anyone who loves watching close up take offs and landings.

Only there one night, a stop over on our way to Italy. My one complaint is that there was not any hot water for a shower in the morning (I would but it at luke warm at best). Based on the fact that they had a sign that looked like premade (i.e., not just put together that morning)I am guessing that this might be a common occurrence.

Even though the hotel is adjacent to the Runway at Heathrow we were not bothered by noise, the rooms were tidy and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Convenient location to airport and transportation to city. Rooms a bit cramped. Good for short stay and for being close to airport for early flights. Short travel time to terminals. The rooms are very quiet which is unusual for an airport hotel - right across the runways!

I am a regular. One of the easiest hotels to get to near Heathrow for the price. For a member with Status I enjoy it alot. Only complaint is with the cost of the Internet. Yes its an older property but if your just flying through Heathrow its great.

Our flight was cancelled and the airline put us there for a night. Oh my God, what a terrible place for a lot of money. The air was stagnant, restaurant service extremely slow, and the front deck staff rude. The room was small, smelled like cigarette even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The furniture was outdated, and there was paint chipping. We ended up checking out two hours after checking in, and paid out of pocke tot stay at a different hotel. What a nightmare.

This hotel lived up to my expectations and was a good price/value. It is modern, clean and has friendly and helpful staff.

Wonderful, With But One Minor QuibbleGreat room with luxurious sheets and wonderful towels. Once you figure out the hopper coach system, easy transport to and from Heathrow (if you need to go to terminal five, take the bus to terminal 3 and the Heathrow Express to 5). Food prices as listed in the hotel information book seemed unnecessarily high, but there is a McDonald's within easy walking distance if you want a quick, affordable snack/meal.

Pleasant. Overpriced wireless internet. Hotel is fine, standard issue, but the internet is an inexcusable 15 pounds.

I arrived late with a knee problem making walking difficult. I was located half way down a hall and had to hobble back to the lobby bar to get a bottle of water. No newspaper I am a Marriot member. It was a place to get a night's sleep prior to a morning flight. Reservasion was for two. It should have been one

Airport HotelHotel was near airport, but very quiet, and once at the hotel, the help was excellent, and the rooms very nice and clean.Upon arriving at airport, we did call the hotel and asked about availability of airport hotel shuttle. We were unfamiliar with the Hotelhopper service at Heathrow, and it would have been helpful if the hotel had given us more information about the service. Perhaps they assumed we already knew the system.Once we were at the hotel, the concierge told us about the local bus system, and was very helpful.

Close to airport. Difficult to find bus back to hotel from central bus station. Not clearly marked and got on wrong bus. atisfied my expectations.

Better than expectedConsidering the location I thought this would be all a little tatty and generally depressing but I was pleasantly surprised. Room was comfortable, service friendly and slept really well.

Great price. No shuttle service. High quality not usually found in European hotels.

Good if you need to be near the airportThe room was clean, well equipped and thankfully they still cater for smokers with a selection of rooms which were good even if they were a long way from the lifts!!

Very helpful staff. Overpriced internet services. Very convenient to Heathrow and public transportation. Neighborhood was a bit industrial at takeoff end of runways and noisy between 06:00 amand 22:00 pm.
