Description:
This boutique hotel is situated well for the airport, financial and business districts, convention center, Port Everglades and the beaches. There is a bus stop across the street that will take you straight to the beach and many other attractions are within walking distance. The rooms are comfortable and some have great views. The hotel restaurant is great for breakfast, lunch and dinner - I tried all 3! - and there's also a lounge and Starbucks coffee. The swimming pool, fitness center and whirlpool are located quite near to the street so it can be noisy but other than that it's a nice area. For business travellers, there's also a good business center. The staff are welcoming and friendly.

Brand new rooms. Flat screen TV was nice. Hotel was very accommodating to let us check-in early (1:00pm). Great location to cruise ship Port Everglades. Nice fitness room. Very friendly staff.

stayed for weekend get away. hotel is ok, but rooms are in need of updating, shower was dirty, and front desk staff not helpful. asked for extra pillows 3 seperate times and never recieved them. not bad for an inexpensive stay, but don't expect service of a 4 star hotel.

The hotel is very nice. The decor is great and rooms are very contemporary. The rooms have a pleasant aroma when you first walk in. The pool area is very nice. The beach is only 5 minutes away when you use the Sun Trolley, Port Everglades is in walking distance. Any local store you might need to get to is within blocks of the hotel. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable of things to do and how to get around. I would definitely stay again.

The convenient location near the Ft. Lauderdale beaches cannot be beat at this price level. The other full service hotels near the beach are all much more expensive, making this a nice option. My only complaint is the room key situation. Marriott has a problem with it's room keys deactivating when they come in contact with a cell phone. My room key deactivated if it came anywhere close to my cell phone.

My husband and I stayed here for an overnight getaway, and it was perfect. The cookies are delicious, the pool and hot tub were nice, the poolside lounges are very comfortable as is the chaise lounge in the room, and the wings from room service are excellent. The later checkout is nice, too.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was friendly and professional. Extremely clean and pleasant. The room was well equipped and the beds quite comfortable. The only complaint is that the hotel while centrally located, was over a mile from the beaches and all other points of interest. Make sure you have transportation.

Hotel is very well taken care of. The staff are extremely nice and polite. It is also in close proximity to the airport and cruise port. The pool is beautiful. They have done an excellent job creating cabanas and relaxing areas.

An extremely consistent and comfortable hotel - the accommodations were very comfortable. The hotel is undergoing a renovation and I was given a renovated room - I'm glad to report that they completely renovated the bathrooms as well - many hotels refurbish the bedroom and then ignore the bathroom during renovations. But this hotel renovation is going to be top notch.

An exceptionally clean hotel with a delicious restaurant, upscale outdoor pool (with cabanas) and a nicely appointed hotel bar. Rooms were adequately appointed with up-to-date furnishings. The beds were comfortable, with a variety of types of pillows to choose from. There were no soda machines on each floor (only in the lobby). Parking was extremely expensive ($20 to valet; $17 to self-park). The hotel was within walking distance of several restaurants and a bakery, and the hotel restaurant offered decent food. The hotel was not within walking distance of the beach, as described (a mile away and you had to walk over a huge causeway bridge) and parking was limited. This was also not within comfortable walking distance of Las Ollas Blvd, which was several large blocks away.

When we checked in were kept waiting at the desk for some time! I did not like that there was no way to specify the kind of room.

The hotel is extremely convenient to the airport and cruise port. It's clean and comfortable and has a very good restaurant. Within walking distance there are several restaurants, a Walgreen's right across the street and only a one block walk to the Water Taxi.
