When I got there, they did not have the room type that I had reserved and only had a queen for myself and my teenage son. Finally, they gave me a room with a queen and a rollaway. I asked for a discount and they said 'sorry, you booked with a third party'. There was a convention at the hotel and anytime during the day, the elevators were so crowded that you either had to wait 20 minutes or climb the stairs.

Location in convenience to Cleveland Clinic. Older, cool damp air.

If you are looking for a touch of elegance on your next visit to Cleveland Ohio, look no farther than the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel. My wife and i were pleasantly surprised at finding this travel gem close to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, The Great Lakes Science Center and the USS Codfish Memorial. So for touch elegance to your next trip to CLEVELAND OHIO (yes they have cleaned up the river and lake) make your next stop at the Renaissance Hotel on Public Square in downtown Cleveland.

The Renaissance is very beautiful, with spacious rooms. The beds were remarkably comfortable. Overall the service was excellent, although some staff had a little trouble operating outside of easy questions. I would definitely return whenever I go to Cleveland.

Went to Cleveland for the first time, just stayed one night. We were in town to see a comedy show, and the hotel was in the perfect location. Nearby everything. Walked to Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Hotel was very clean and beds were very comfortable! Will definetly stay at the Rennisance when traveling to Cleveland!

The comfort of the bedding and bath products. The people at front desk weren't very helpful and theTV was very small and hard to see. We got this hotel for a romantic night downtown. It was very comfortable and we had a great time. We had hoped to stay in and watch some movies however the TV was so small compared to other upscale hotels we've stayed at recently it was almost impossible to watch them. The staff at the check-in desk seemed kind of rude but the staff helping with directions were great. Priceline is a great deal - already recommended it to people.

Fastest check in ever! If the hotel owns the parking garage, the elevator was filthy.

Wonderful historic hotel, very courteous and knowledgeable staff. We got upgraded to a suite(excellent) so unable to comment about reg. rooms. Location is perfect. I can't say enough good things about our experience at the Renaissance.

We traveled to Cleveland for the first time and stayed at the historic Renaissance Hotel at Tower City Center. Everything was within walking distance (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, House of Blues, Hard Rock Cafe, Quicken Arena [Cleveland Caveliers], the Indians' and the Browns' stadium, and the shopping mall). Although we didn't take advantage of the public transportation, it was widely available. The hotel provided us with tickets to the Rock and Roll Hall of fame and had walking maps of the various Cleveland locations. We stayed on the 14th floor with accessability to the Club Room. This was a nice bonus and a great place to watch the NCAA playoffs. The food was fabulous as were the wait staff. The omelets for breakfast are a must. The drive to and from the airport was convenient and the hotel was conveniently located to Shaker Heights, where we attended a wedding. All said, the hotel was great and I would definitely stay there again should my travel needs send me to the Cleveland area. I will stay longer to see more of the historic sites and experience more of the local haunts. By far, this was one of my best travel experiences and this Renaissance was as great as any I've stayed in. Thanks for an enjoyable trip.

The hotel was great, but I was very disappointed that the pool only stayed open on a Sunday night until 9pm, that was rediculous. Very disappointing

The public spaces were quite majestic. The rooms are a bit small, but well appointed. Parking is expensive. Our experience at this hotel was delightful. Staff was very friendly, and the hotel itself was lovely. Room even though small were immaculate. Great location.

Pamper yourself in luxury, a short metro train ride from the airport, and located near the best restaurants in Cleveland. Beautiful finishes in the lobby and room, high quality furniture, a pampering experience.

Great staff, Upgraded us to Executive Suite at no charge. Nothing. Perfect in all aspects for what was needed. Great old school hotel in heart of Cleveland. Walking distance or short cab ride to everything. Great staff and ambience.

We were very lucky that we selected this hotel as it made our trip very easy. We flew into Cleveland and rode the subway to the hotel. The subway stops at Tower City which made it so we never have to go outside. We attended two events at the Quicken Loans Arena. Again never having to go outside. We would stay again.

The bed was soft. Everything else.
