Little gemBoth welcome and service were very friendly and attentive. Our room was immaculate, furnished to a high standard with very contemporary fittings. At breakast, the quality of food and its presentation was excellent - better than that often experienced at top end hotels. Having a main door key, with regular buses passing the door taking under 5 minutes to the town centre, our stay was as busy or relaxing as we wished. As an experience - definitely more boutique hotel than B&B.

Looked like a big normal house when I arrived - but inside was as plush as any 4* hotel - just a llittle smaller. Room/ bathroom was great, breakfast was lovely. My only (tiny) complaint that my shower was only luke warm in the morning.. (I'm one of those need nuclear heat to wake me up people) - overall thoroughly recommend!

Much enjoyed this break. Perfect for trips into Oxford. Shame there was no evening meal in hotel, but local restaurants in Summertown were great. Lovely room and very helpful staff

Excellent location for access to Oxford City Centre. Exceptionally clean and well-maintained accommodation with thoughtful touches such as biscuits in the room. No noise from other rooms. Excellent selection of foods for breakfast including fresh fruit salad, croissants or full English. Friendly helpful staff. I am recommending the Remont to my friends.

Very smart modern guesthouse in a good location for Summertown and within easy reach of central Oxford. A good warm welcome and a very decent breakfast buffet. Price was a little steep for a room for a night, but still pretty much in line with other Oxford hotels/guesthouses.

Excellent budget option for Oxford. Cconveniently located for centre of town - 10 mins by taxi. Very good standard of accommodation.

The remont was lovely. All staff helpful and friendly. Location is fantastic, very near local shops, cafe's etc. Only downside is that parking is a slight problem. Only 6 spaces in the front and 9 around the back is simply not enough for a hotel with 25 rooms. Other than this had a lovely stay and would visit this hotel again.

The breakfast and breakfast room were excellent. Buffet style, with a good choice.

Hotel was easy to find and get to. There was car parking available. Staff were helpful and knew the area well so could suggest things to see and do.

Expensive. Not very female friendly (i.e. no moisturiser/conditioner/cotton pads). That said, very smart well thought out rooms. Friendly staff who want to help.

Very nice guest house located just a short bus ride out of Oxford city centre. Stayed in the superior suite for two nights which was a very nice room. The room itself and bathroom were of a good size and finished to a high standard. Unlike some hotels we've stayed at the pictures on the website reflect exactly how the room looks in real life. Lovely buffet breakfast served in the morning with a wide selection. Although we thought slightly overpriced we would stay again, and we will be recommending to our friends. Thank you to the Remont for a lovely weekend away.

Good quiet location in Summertown with many restaurants and bars within five minutes walk or plentiful buses and taxis to the City Centre. The guest house is new. minimalist and clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. One problem for us - muzac in the breakfast room. But they did turn it off when asked!

Hotel accessible once navigated way round Oxford - more fault of Oxford Council than the hotel!Continental feel, nice room and bathroom and liked the breakfast area.

This is not a hotel, it is a guest house or B&B, so none of the facilities of a hotel are available e.g. bar, restaurant, room service. So the price of £130/night is way over priced. Your description of the Remont as a hotel is therefore misleading and embarassing, when being accompanied by very important overseas visitors. Staff are very friendly, but not helpful outside of routine operations e.g. reluctant to help with lost baggage. Rooms are very clean and contain everything needed for business travel or the holiday vistor alike. However wireless internet speed patheticly slow.As a B&B it is highly recommendable, but not as a hotel. Please help other potential guest by changing your description.

Absolutely fantastic! Could not recommend highly enough, superb stylish hotel (it is actually a guest house, but that doesn't do it justice) my room was immaculate, the quality of the finishings was very high, the bathroom especially was beautiful with a lovely double shower. There is free wireless and freeview in each room with a nice wall mounted LCD TV, this meant that the room felt very spacious indeed. They don't have a bar or restaurant, but the local shops are literally 5 minutes walk down the road and there are a number of restaurants there. Also it's in a very nice suburban location so I had no concerns about walking to and from the hotel. The breakfast area is again extremely stylish, and breakfast was of a quality I would associate with Marriott/Hilton hotels, lots of freshly cooked ingredients, fresh fruit, yoghurts, etc. I was delighted to have turned up such a gem of a hotel and will go out of my way in future to stay here if I am in the area. Excellent!

Good location for Oxford (near to the northern ringroad) and reasonably easy to get into the centre. Hotel/room was very clean and smartly decorated. Quiet location, somewhere to park and a nice breakfast. Recommended.

The hotel was easy to find (although a lit sign would make it easier), and is in a good location, just an hours walk from the city centre but handy for access to the bypass and motorway. Plenty of parking, some at the front of the house, some at the rear. The staff (family) were all very friendly and helpful, and the room was very tastefully decorated in Ikea and Laura Ashley, with a modern ensuite and great shower. The hotel is new and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great (although the buffet-style setup may have dried out some of the choices a bit), and I would definitely stay again.
