I wanted a quiet getaway! The room was really clean and lots of space. There was even a small sitting room with a couch! It had a mini fridge and microwave, heated indoor pool and right across the street from the beach! I never heard a single noise from the neighbors! Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to have a beach getaway and save money!

Our stay was mainly an overnight one. We needed a place near the St. Augustine Amphitheater and the Regency Inn was only 2 miles away. The hotel is not "beach front", it is across the street but beach access is about 100 yards away. The price for the room was exceptionally good for a beach are hotel so we were a little skeptical. When we arrived I was pleasantly surprised! The reception was quick and friendly. The room was exceptionally clean. It had a very nice table and chairs. Plenty of towels. The TV with remote worked! The beds were comfortable. There is a coffee pot in the room, but i would advise you bring some of your own coffee. No big deal. Though we were only at the Regency Inn a short time we had a very pleasant experience. We are thinking of coming back down for a weekend to enjoy the area a little more and plan on staying here again!

Good for the money. Pool was a little creepy. Staff was nice and the room was clean.

This was for the most part a quiet place to stay. The bar restaurant close by one night had college night and it was somewhat noisy until about 10:30 pm . The room was clean, comfortable and the staff kept it that way. The front desk was helpful in recommending good places to eat and visit. They took good care of myself and wife. The Continental breakfast was ok but was coffee , juice, cold cereal , toast and donuts. I swam once in the heat pool which was nice. We were just across the road from the beach and pier. I walked on the pier ( cost 50 cents, wife was over 60 so it was free for her) but didn't walk the beach or swim. Too cold in December. There is a convenient store just at the end of the drive of the hotel a short walk. You are only about ten minutes from down town St. Augustine. You can drive or use the shuttle and tram system. The police station is within a block of the hotel which makes it safer than most hotels in the area. I would definitely use this hotel again.

We stopped at 7:00 pm to get a room and got a great ground floor unit. We were able to go swimming in the heated indoor pool and had the whole pool to ourselves. The beach access was a plus the next morning. I would have sppreciated a discounted rate since we checked in for one night only at 7pm. The continental breakfast was predictable but good.

It was very nicely priced and was very clean. WiFi signal was a little weak.

Very clean and nice location. Some minor upgrades to infrastructure needed. Nice spacious rooms, very clean! Courteous and helpful staff. Some of the tiles were cracked in the bathroom and the water pressure was a little low. The breakfast was good and fresh, plenty to fill up on. I would stay here again.

Was across from beach. Bed too hard, breakfast wasn't special, no toothbrushes, no room in bathroom to close door. The staff tried there best was one person who checked people in, and who also delivered extra pillows, breakfast wasn't continental it was cereal and danishes. The bathroom was so small couldn't shut door when using toilet.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and met our needs. Quiet, no noise from street. Clean room, continental breakfast had great assortment and everything was fresh. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great visit.

Excellent location, staff was incredibly helpful! Fire alarm went off at 6:15am. This hotel represents an excellent value for the location and quality. The staff was amazingly helpful, the continental breakfast was above average, and the room was clean and comfortable.

Close to almost everything. Clean and comfortable. Wireless hookup only in the office area, not in the rooms.

It was close to were we wanted to be, good continental breakfast. Nothing to tell. Our stay was very pleasant and we had a good time. We weren't in the motel much. Only to sleep for a few hours each night. (about 6 to 7 hours).

Close to the beach. No make your own waffles at breakfast. Nice location across the street from the beach, rooms were clean and the staff was friendly.

The best part of this hotel is its location close to St. Augustine Beach and pier. Comfortable and clean rooms. Beds were comfortable, but minimal. No extra pillows or plush comforters. I would stay here again - the price is lower than other accommodations this close to the beach.

It was easy to find and it was fine for a short stay. The air conditioner didn't seem to get as cool in the room as we wanted. This was a fine place to spend a quick weekend, but I wouldn't want to stay for a long time. It was typical for this type of lodging. All-in-all it suited our needs.

Clean, quiet, relative attractive. Location, price. Not a beach hotel, across a very busy highway from the beach. Farther from historic district that thought.
Date of Stay:

Close to beach. Low class guests. First room AC unit broken, staff moved us promptly. Very convenient, near beach, good continental breakfast, helpful staff; a lot people staying there were obnoxious, however.
