We were offered a shoebox sized room with an ensuite that would have caused an injury if a second person had attempted to enter it when the first was in it. The bed was described as a double but was a spacious single. When we requested a twin the receptionist was most put out and with very bad grace evetually granted the request. You needed a map to find the room and the staff were dismissive when asked for directions. The room was basic but walking around felt like you were walking straight on the water pipes due to the amount of noise they emitted. Parking was provided but they charged you [$] for the priviledge. The one highlight was the American style diner located outside it but still part of the Hotel complex. Courteous helpful staff, beautiful food and reasonably priced. The main hotel should take a long hard look at it!

The lobby and public dining areas of this hotel were very nice. The staff were friendly and accomodating. The rooms however, were very run down. The plumbing was finicky. The water would get cold or stop flowing altogether when trying to take a shower. The toilet only worked when it wanted to. The heat in the room would automatically turn off during day-time hours to save hotel energy. Overall I was very unhappy with accomodations. I would never stay there again and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel provides a good room service from the restaurant. unfortunately the rooms are not really equiped to accomodate a full dinner i.e. no serving table or trolleys and a bit too small. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and the food was great.

The Regency Hotel in Dublin was a pleasure to stay in. The room was comfortable with convenient self service for tea and coffee. The breakfast was delightful and all that one could ask for. We found the location to be perfect--very accessible to the airport and to local transportation . All in all a very good choice for accomodation in Dublin.

I was looking for an airport hotel for one night. this hotel is halfway between the airport and downtown. the description you have says airport shuttle - well there is no shuttle from the airport and it cost 5 euros for the shuttle to the airport which only operates in the AM. they tried to slap lipstick on a pig.

Very good hotel. free wireless internet. Parking cost 10 pounds per night if there weren't any spaces available out the front. 1.5 pounds for a bus ride from the front of the hotel to the centre of Dublin. We would stay here again.

I had a room near the elevator, which I would never do again. There were loud people walking by, constantly, until 2am. Location was good, and the airport shuttle was only 5 euro. Luckily, I only stayed here on my last night in Dublin, otherwise I would have changed to a room away from the elevator.

The hotel was clearly under renovations during our visit, but we had a new room and it was superb. The hotel benefits from a brand new excellent leisure facility, with gym, pool, spa etc. Sitting on a mian bus route, its easy to access from the airport, and also into the city centre. Staff are predominently foreign, but the service we experienced was excellent

Lady in charge of restuarant staff was not very agreeable, she did not interact with guests and i saw her give a dressing down to a member of staff, other members of the staff where very helpful and would recommend this hotel.
