We were traveling with elderly guests that arrived there before us, we had the credit card we used to purchased the room with us, they made them pay cash until we got there, we finally straightened that out over the phone. when we arrived we checked in and went to our room, had to kill a roach. TV was broke, called front desk they traded remotes, it worked fine after that, the next morning we went to see if they had maybe a danish or coffee or something and was told by the staff that at the prices they charge you are aloud one small coffee apiece. needless to say we were a bit disappointed. the motel 8 would have been cheaper and a fast start breakfast. I assumed because of the Red Roof reputation we would be treated better. NOT!!

This hotel was a great value and perfect for an overnight stay while on a long trip. The room was very clean. Rooms open to the outdoors and there was no coffee maker, fridge, microwave or hairdryer. The room was quiet, even though we were right off a major highway. There weren't a lot of frills, but if you just need a clean room, good bed and clean bathroom, this is perfect.

My boyfriend and I stayed here while in St. Louis for a wedding. The hotel was easy to find, it's right off of Highway 270; check-in and check-out were very quick and easy; and despite the outward appearance of the hotel, it looks a bit older, the rooms were amazingly modern and comfortable! The sign said all the rooms are new and if our room is indication of this statement it is very true! Everything was very modern and up-to-date and the room came with a desk/work station which would be great if you are traveling for business. The bathroom was a bit on the small side but it was perfectly manageable with just two people and the sink was located outside the bathroom with ample counter space. The room actually looked just like the one in the pictures, which was great. The only thing I really didn't like was that the hotel was two seperate buildings and all the rooms had exterior doors, so if there was anyone outside their room on the balcony/walkway you could hear them in your room. Otherwise it was an excellent hotel, great stay, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone staying in the St. Louis area.

Easy to find, yet food choices sparse because of locale. QT gas station adjacent, but the restaurant next door with a name similar to an owl's call that this website will stupidly not let me use because it considers the name to be profane (get real Orbitz - that may have just pathetically cost you any of my future business) may not be the most appropriate dining choice, and other choices are distant. The clerk that checked me in - and out - was not unpleasant, she just was just indifferent. Flat affect and personality. No niceties or welcomes, no available amenities or features mentioned. BUT the price was reasonable, the room very clean and comfortable, and at least the housekeeping staff was friendly. Neighborhood feels secure (mostly industrial and business area). And located along major roads for quick travel or connection to many locales.

Front desk staff was not informative and inconvenient. Front desk didn't greet us when we walked into the lobby. $50 deposit to rent a movie on TV. Didn't inform me that I had to go to the lobby to have them turn movies on. Waited 10 minutes for the thing to start then had to call again and go down.

We only stayed here one night while passing through St Louis. The bed was horribly uncomfortable and the staff seemed snotty and quite upset that we had booked and paid for our reservation through a third party.

I trusted another review on this and am paying it forward. We stayed 2 nights in the Millenium downtown, and Honestly, Hands down this place was better. All new, renovated rooms, very clean, Business friendly, as well as family friendly. Micro, Fridge in room as well. Highly recommend to all. Close, easy access to Airport, we had a car rental, very easy to get to airport! Go Go Go!

I was upset to find out that we were only going to get 3 days of maid service for our week stay. In the end we only got 2 days of maid service so I had to constantly call for towels and toilet paper. The location is bad because it is right next to the highway and noisy and bright.

Located by Hooters. Looked like a bad neighborhood. It was okay for the price. The only real problem I had was that the place was basically empty and the clerk gives us a room at the farest building and on the 3rd floor.

Went to St. Louis for the Tom Petty concert. I searched for a low priced hotel in the area and found Red Roof Inn. Right off I-270 at Page, 8 minutes from the Verizon Amphitheater, Hooters right next door (within walking distance), great price, friendly staff, pillow top queen bed, fridge and microwave in the room. Convenience store within walking distance, also. TWO thumbs up for this hotel-I'm telling all my friends. It doesn't get much better for the price.

The Red Roof Inn was clean & Comfortable. The staff was very accomadating. The location was excellant for our trip, a visit to the National Archives, Military Records. Very economical.

Cleanliness was good. Very good accommodations considering the very reasonable cost. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel was location was convenient to expressways but a little awkward getting into.

I do not have any negative comments about this hotel or its staff. The room was clean and the bed was by far the most comfortable I've slept in in a while. The room was very business friendly and the staff was most helpful. The location was good and neighboring eateries were plentiful.

Clean. Comfort was OK. Very small room. Good hotel for a one- or two-night stay. Room was very small, but serviceable. I would not have wanted to have a family in one room. Just too cramped. Everything worked, though, and it was clean and comfortable. Very close to the major highways, but was not noisy. The young man at the front desk at check in was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is in a business/industrial area, but close to a shopping center as well. A convenient location overall, but bedding needs improvement. Overall a good value for the money. If your looking for basic, this is it.

It was clean, easy to find, and right next to Hooters! No microwave or fridge. It was a nice remodeled room. It was clean, but kind of small. It was just right for the two of us to stay one night in. The staff were friendly. I would stay here again.

Our stay at theRed Roof Inn was better than expected. Affordable and well located. A good family place to stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Easy access to main highways and tourist sites. I would stay here again.
