Good staff courtesy. Extra-curricular activities in whir pool! No swimming for us. Great place to stay, convenient location, beautiful view, very nice rooms for the money, nice lookout, excellent staff.

My fiance and I stayed here on a mini-vacation a few weeks ago. We had a terrible drive up and were very tired when we arrived. The lady behind the desk was very efficient, and very friendly. We mentioned we were hungry and she listed off five or six places that delivered right to our room without us even asking. She even gave us menus! The beds were so comfortable and the log furniture was adorable! The walls were a little thin, but not terrible. There was a little baby in the room next door that kept us up for a little bit, but what can the staff do about that? The next morning we asked a different lady about what there was to do in Duluth, she gave us a "direction guide" to all the restaurants and areas of Duluth. It's hard to figure out where you're going in this city if you're not familiar with it. But when we got lost up by the mall we called the hotel and the same lady helped us figure out where to go. I couldn't believe it. It was a great few days away from home, and what probably would have been a mediocre stay at best was phenomenal because of the awesome staff. We will definitely be back when we come back to the area.

The hotel is a stones throw away from the highway and there is no sound barrier. The noise from the highway is overwhelming. The room I stayed in is on the ground floor with a sliding door directly facing the highway. This door had no bar for security and entry into the room would take little effort. Also be aware of the cancellation policy at this location because if you find your unable to sleep due to the noise your out off luck for at least 72 hours. I will not stay at this hotel again.

Convenient, and quiet. Hot tub only had a 3 person limit to its occupancy. Overall, the stay was quite nice.

Stayed with my mother, daughter and baby granddaughter. Wonderful service!! Very nice room, pool, hot tub and breakfast. Stayed at much more costly hotels and got much more for our money here, especially the friendly, helpful staff. All 4 generations were very satisfied.

All the staff at the hotel were very friendly and courteous and helpful. Room was clean, decent continental breakfast. Not to far of a drive to the William Munger trail for those of you who like to bike, run, walk, and in-line skate.

Convenient right off of the highway. The breakfast was not great. This hotel was comfortable and nice for an inexpensive experience.

Convent, breakfast, staffing. I really needed earlier checking for a wedding, to dress. I really liked the location, view the staff was kobo I would have preferred more flex on cheek-in.

Free breakfasts. No fresh air with pool side room. All in all, I was pleased with the hotel, it met expectations and I have no big complaints.

When I arrived the front desk lady was very nice! Could not have pets.

Cute woodsy decor with log wood table and chairs. Seemed a little old, a little smoky. For the price, the hotel was wonderful! The staff was helpful. The hot tub was in a separate room from the pool so you have to go back and forth to swim in both. Quite good overall.

Selection of what room faced --beautiful trees behind the hotel - Perkins next door --very friendly and accommodating staff. Can't think of anything --don't think they had an elevator, but we were on first floor. Lovely location --very friendly accommodating staff, easy to find, good location, enjoyed our stay.

Nice breakfast. Nasty indistinguishable stuff on the ceiling. I definitely will not stay at this hotel again! All was fine until we noticed who knows what on the ceiling! We reported the problem, so it could be addressed, ,however, the staff was rude, continually cutting us off... "There is nothing we can do because you paid through a third party website." We weren't looking for a refund, just thought it should be cleaned!

Good complimentary breakfast. Room was stuffy. carpet needed cleaning. Average.

Nice offers from surrounding businesses (food, gas). Personable staff. Unable to use whirlpool due to number of people. Loud neighbors but staff corrected.
