I didn't want to pay big prices for rooms at or near the casinos. The room was clean, comfortable, with friendly and accomodating staff, good bed, and I was able to buy a great roast beef sandwich at the front desk at 3 AM. That's what I wanted and that's what I got at a great price. Dining was 5 minutes away at two malls and it was about twenty to twenty-five minutes to Foxwoods.

Clean, friendly staff. Bathroom way to small. Clean, but no services.

A convenient and inexpensive place to stay. Rooms have recently been renovated - new carpet, bedspreads, etc. Very friendly service. The shuttle to Mohegan Sun picks up and drops off across the street. Shuttle service pays for itself with a dinner and gambling voucher. Can't beat that!

Rather a dreary atmosphere. But staff was friendly and helpful. Thought this was very overpriced. Had to even pay additional $5 per day for a microwave. No in room coffee or refrigerator. No hairdryer provided but did bring one when I requested it.

the location was nearby where we needed to be. no hairdryer in room, sink outside bath area, bath area to small, no place to change conveniently. good for a truck driver. No frills, no restaurant not sure if there was a pool. No hairdryer in room so had to go buy one. Bathroom was tiny and the toilet ran. Beds were not very comfortable. I would not stay here again. This was my first time at a Red Roof and will be the last.

I typically stay @ Mohegan Sun when gambling there however due to a last minute trip on a holiday weekend I wasnt able to get a room for this night so we opted to stay @ The Red Roof. I will defineitly stay here again, its a short easy drive to the casino and you cant beat the rates. Dont expect luxury but its a great clean no frills place to rest your head for a couple of hours!

very easy check in was done in matter of minutes and was easily located near attractions

The staff was very friendly & location was close to our desired destination. The air conditioner had an odd smell to it when on. Overall the hotel was just what we needed - a place to sleep and shower. This wouldn't be a hotel I would necessarily stay at for leisurely purposes, however it served it's function. The staff was very nice and assized us when there was no parking available when we came back at night.

Room was clean and comfortable. We were there to visit Connecticut College, not to spend time at the hotel, so this was a perfect place to stay for a very reasonable rate.

Nothing special - it served its purpose

The big room and bed. Nothing. It's a very nice hotel, right off the highway and it's very comfortable.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to provide directions and suggested places to sightsee. The room was comfortable and clean, I loved the pillows! We will definately stay again our next time in town. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

It's freshly remodeled and it has first class amentities like a fridge and microwave. It's also very clean.

The convenience of its location to my destination and the interstate. There was not very good signage as to where it specifically was. This hotel was clean and cozy, perfect for a few day business trip, or for someone who is concerned with cost. The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice. The only real complaint is that the heat, which is occupant controlled, made the room either too hot or not warm enough, and poorly located along the ceiling.

Not clean, Smelled musty, full of dog hair. Carpet was dirty, not vaccuumed at all. Bathroom floor full of hair, mold. Loud guests, party type hotel for locals. 2 Cop cars at hotel at midnight on Sat. full lights and sirens!! car in lot with flat tires. expected a little more even if it's only one star. Dog barking for about 45 minutes straight at 7am. Look around and compare. Cheaper isn't always better!

great value. Its a short drive from mohegan sun and notb that much farther to foxwoods. The room was nicely finished and spaciuos for the price. The one turn-off was the musty (possibly moldy) smell. We asked people staying across from us about the smell and they said they had the same problem. Luckily it was not that cold outside so we left our door open to air it out.

Very close too casino's. Thin walls & cheap pillows.

The Red Roof Inn was a great value for the price. It was clean and very inviting and comfortable. There is no restaurant in the hotel however front desk gave good directions for close by restaurant. This hotel is centrally located to many local attractions and servered our purpose perfectly. I would definately stay in the hotel again.

Location. Bed, bathroom, shower, towels, old rug on floor.

This is a great place for a one night stay. Attended a concert at Mohegan Sun and needed a room just for the night. Quick and easy too and from the casino. The room not much to brag about but it served it's purpose, I just needed a bed for the night! Would recommend to anyone just looking for cheap and easy.
