I arrived very late on a Friday night and the on duty desk manager made sure to take care of me right away. Knowing that a storm was coming, In let them know that I was going to be leaving around 4 a.m. or so. They made sure that my room was very close to the lobby to expediate checkout and someone was there at the desk waiting for me. It was great seeing as time was of the essence for me. The room was also spacious and comfortable.

Clean room and very accommodating front desk. Nice flat screen TV.

I would NOT recommend this hotel! Booked a room for 1 adult and 1 senior. They provided 1 old skimpy towel, 1 hand towel and 1 wash cloth you could see through per guest; 1 small bar of soap for the room, 1 foil packet of Breck shampoo( for the room, not per person). No table or bed side night stands. No room light just a flourescent light above each bed and a flourescent desk lamp. No chair in room. No box of tissues or tissue dispenser just ONE POCKET Pack of tissues for the room. Worse than a Motel 6 ! No in room cofee and the machine in the lobby was not working it's digital display said needs waste removal, when mentioned to the front desk they merely nodded but did not move to remedy it. There is no food/continental breakfast etc and nothing in close walking distance for breakfast. Given all of this, it was WAY overpriced

No food of any kind except snack machines. Just coffee in lobby, not in rooms. Internet is NOT FREE-10/day. Old skimpy towels, 1 tiny packet of shampoo. This place is only 1 step above a Motel 6. Overpriced.

Stayed here due to a family funeral. Hotel under major reconstruction. Fire alarm went off at 12:30 AM and was told my family - happens often. No towels and when asked had to wait at 6 PM until they came out of the dryer and had to go get. No food for breakfast. Had coffee. No side chair in rooms. Bed as uncomfortable as any I've ever used. Elevator not working correctly - worried about getting stuck. Occupied 5 rooms - all felt the same.

Good location. Very minimalistic; the bathroom (toilet and shower) were separate from the sink.

well I really am not a picky person but I DID NOT like this place. The front dest is very slow, young kids all behind the counter joking and not paying attention.Theres really no waiting area, its just 4 chairs and a coffee table. There are no kids channels you have to pay $$ for a movie for the kids to watch. There is no security at all.I couldnt event open my curtains<(I was on the first floor)and every time I wanted to open it there were people letting there dogs go to the bathroom. And at one point I did find a couple of ants crawling across the bed.

Had to travel to Long Island for a funeral and as expected, had some difficulty finding a room with no advance notice. This Red Roof turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. OK, it overlooks a huge Lowe's Home Center and there weren't any plush robes to wear after a shower but this place was convenient (a stones throw off the Meadowbrook), immaculately clean and half the price of nearby properties. The staff was polite and efficient. No onsite restaurant but that really didn't matter with a slew of restaurants a short drive away. Definitely a great value!

The facility is satisfactory.

Room was clean. Staff was helpful. Not for you if your looking for frills. Just a basic place to stay.

(1) Stains in bathroom sink and on counter. (2) Debris on carpet, perhaps not vacuumed following a previously sloppy guest. (3) Nail polish drippings on several of the furnishings. (4) Only machine-brewed coffee, and only available in the lobby. The front desk did offer to change the room, but we had a dinner engagement, and couldn't spare the time necessary to re-register. Sheets were clean, and the bed was comfortable.

Room was clean. We weren't looking for anything special since we were only there for one night. Very close to some decent chain restaurants.

We have stayed here proably 15 times since our daughter began attending Hofstra. Quality always good - staff helpful. Not luxury, but always clean - good value

Clean, relatively new hotel; reasonable price in this most expensive of areas. Target store and food close by. Internet worked well

The location is great, in a prime area on Long Island's north shore. However, the hotel was obviously not ready yet for customers after a total remodel as part of the Red Roof Inn's renovation program. Check in took forever, with a long backed-up line. It was not the fault of the poor check-in clerk, she was the only one working the front desk. We went through 3 rooms, all did not have air conditioners that worked, and many were missing light bulbs or even shades on the lamps, and all still smelled of cigarette smoke, when they should have been non-smoking rooms.

Clean, fit, efficient placee to spend the night and a very good bargain. Hard to beat it.

At both check-in and check-out the staff were genuine and personable. I liked that the staff introduced themselves and said how long they would be working in case we needed any further help.

I am sory to say that this was not the best stay I have had. My complaints or minor. Keep in mind i am easily pleased, how ever this Hotel didn't have any amenities. The AC in the room didn't work and the room stayed very warm/hot. It was Difficult to sleep due to the temprature in the room. The staff that i delt with were not very pleasent and were some what rude. How ever the location was find, the up keep and general apperiance was good. Hotel was clean and enviting. The room besides the Temparature were clean and very comfortable. Over all it was not a bad stay and I am sure to some it would be exceptional. I am sure that For The area where the Hotel is the staff were as nice as could be expected just that beeing from Colorado and working in Customer service I was a bit shocked by their Dismeaner. The bathroom was very nice in the room and the TV was great. Bed was nice and well made. This location is a bit remote and if a visitor doesn't have a car transportation can be a bit of an issue.

girl at the front desk not very friendly. She almost seemed mad I booked online.
