Came to Knoxville for a football game. Red Roof Inn was a great hotel. Great location lots of different places to eat (within walking distance). Hotel even had a shuttle to pick us up for the game. Very convient! Will be back!!!

Convenient location. Did not feel safe, room was dirty and staff was incompetent. The bathroom was filthy. After we checked in the clerk checked into our room another guest was checked into our same room. The other guest was given a key and burst into our room while we were in our bed watching TV.

We found the hotel to be clean and a good value. We stayed here while travelling over the Thanksgiving holiday. There are several nice places to eat within walking distance of your room. This is a busy area so it is not a "quiet spot " but I would stay here again.

The room was fairly clean - however the bathroom left something to be desired. Tub didn't drain well; toilet ran once in a while; no stopper in sink. Beds were OK. Need to move furniture once in a while to vacuum.

Convenient location. Desk clerk whose personal phone call took priority. I'm not sure this qualifies as a 2*. I think it would, except the bathroom wasn't in great shape - the tub had enamel flaking off. And the towels were like thick sandpapers. They had the tiniest soaps (ONE!) I've ever seen - postage-stamp sized. And the wireless internet was very unreliable. But it was clean, and I didn't feel unsafe or anything.

This hotel was an excellent value. The rooms were very large and extremely clean. The rooms offered plenty of storage in real wood dressers and were equipped with new flat-screen TVs with expanded cable. The pool area / courtyard was in the middle of the property. It was well maintained and was a good size for a hotel of this size. The pool required a room key to activate the gate....nice for privacy. There were plenty of tables, chairs, and umbrellas around the pool as well. The free breakfast was very nice and fresh. It consisted of normal continental breakfast offerings (donuts, cereal, danishes, fresh fruit, etc) and also offered a waffle maker and hot biscuits and gravy. The bar also offered apple juice, orange juice, milk, and a coffee machine. The coffee machine had multiple selections to choose from including coffee, hot chocolate, mocha, and latte. Access to and from the hotel was extremely easy off of I-640 and I-75. There were ample restaurants, shopping, and gas stations within walking distance.

This property was great! It's easily accessible from I-75, near many restaurants, and close to the University of Tennessee. The free breakfast each morning was very complete....eggs, waffles, biscuits, cereals, fruit, and drinks. The pool area was very clean, well kept, and invitiing. The room was perfect...comfortable beds, clean and spacious bathroom, and new furnishings. I would definately stay here again. The staff was awesome...they were very helpful with giving us directions, answering questions, and making our stay so pleasant.

It was by highway. They wouldn't bring us towels. It was not close to down town. Cigarette burns on tub. Beds were hard. Overall was not clean.
