This was a VERY DIRTY and SMELLY room. It had only one working light and the room smelled so so very bad. I WOULD NEVER recommend or stay there again.

Clean, comfortable. Small sign for entrance. It was very clean and comfortable, but the entrance sign was small.

I visit family in Hickory several times a year, and the Red Roof Inn is the best value I've found. Most of the motels in Hickory are badly overpriced (and this is from someone who lives in San Francisco) and, while the Red Roof is a very simple, basic motel, I've always been completely satisfied. The staff is pleasant and accomodating, and the rooms are clean and fine.

I went with my 2 year old, my sister, and her 2 year old. The neighborhood was fine. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean - and it looked like the bathrooms had been re-done - very nice hotel.

Cheap. Unattractive. You get what you expect with this hotel, not really anything more.

I liked it is location to restaurants. It was a little difficult to find, entrance sign only three feet high. Other than locating it, it was easy to exit the site, to get to locations in the city and surrounding areas.

The price of room was reasonable and the staff was very friendly. The room was clean but the blanket on one of the beds had a whole in it and looked worn out.

Location was good. No pool. Hotel was close to interstate and restaurants but very limited amenities.
