I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Red Roof Inn. I was glad to find another hotel that was comfortable and in close proximity to all the sights in DC. The only issue I had with the hotel is that upon check out they tried to charge me $3.53 for a long distance phone call made from my room. The call was made at 2:15pm and we left the room at 11:00 am and did not return until midnight. Obviously one of their not so honest employees was the culprit. In any case after firmly letting them know that we did not make any phone call and telling them to call the number to prove they did not know us, the charges were removed. The bathrooms were really nice!

This was a quick business trip. The Red Roof Inn in the Chinatown section of Washington provided me with both a great place to get ready for my meeting and a good night's sleep as well as great restaurants, things to see & do close by, and easy access to several museums for my little bit of free time. I expect to stay here again.

Rooms were clean, and it was close to many attractions. Had to pay 20 a night for parking, and did not offer free wireless Internet.

The hotel was close to the Metro and to points of interest. I was clean and the staff attentive. Take care if you are traveling for business that they book you away from the frequent school trips. The sound proofing is poor between rooms. The price is much much more affordable than the central and fancy hotels with few perks. It worked just fine for me.

It was nice that the hotel was close to the Metro! The rooms were not very clean. They did not clean the room well! Some days they did not clean the room at all. They did not leave enough towels. They did not leave more coffee or cups. The TV speaker was bad. The management said that we would be compensated for the poor service, that never happened. I am still wait to be called back by management.

Front desk personnel were helpful and friendly. Windows looked into a parking garage. This hotel is not in the best area. Room was sparsely furnished with a bed, desk, and dresser. There was only a mirror on the wall for decoration.

For a hotel in the middle of a major city, I believe the hotel was a good value. The hotel is not fancy, However the location is close to most attractions. Our room was clean & the pub off the lobby had entertainment Fri. & Sat. night. I would Stay there again.

"This hotel is a great value and conveniently located in the heart of DC's trendy Chinatown, close to all kinds of restaurants / shopping. It is w/in walking distance to the subway, Court of Appeals, mall museums, and convention center. My room was small but comfortable and clean and the bathroom had been remodeled, with pleasant decor. The hotel staff was very helpful with directions and were friendly and accomodating with all requests. Best of all, this location made renting a car unnecessary (local metro station connects directly to Reagan National airport)."

I loved the location and staff. Lighting and no free wireless internet. No free wireless internet. Location is great. Rate is alright. Parking is 20/night, which they should have mentioned earlier. I didn't know until we get there, and had no choice but park there on site in a closed door garage.

"This was a good hotel for the price. Lots of food choices burger king, quiznos, the pub and lots of chinese restraunts. Walking distances to Verizion Center and some muesums. Rooms were nice but, could have used a fridge and showers were luke warm at best."

This hotel is in Chinatown and one block from the Verizon Center where the Wizards, Capitals and Hoyas play. We went for sporting events, so this was perfect.
