the red roof inn was a good place to stay it was my first visit there. The minor problem that we did once reported they took care of it right away. I would stay there each time I visit Dover.

Room had microwave and refrigerator. Jewelry was taken from my luggage. Hotel/facilities were fine. But I cannot recommend the hotel because of theft of my jewelry. No one had access to the room, but the housekeeping folks or the management. We had a card key for the door of the room. I did not realize the theft until I returned home and looked for the necklace which was purchased in a department store in the mall there in Dover.

We should have left this hotel when we discovered the inside blankets were full of human hairs.The following morning I had to practically beg the man at the desk who I believe is the owner for a few towels as there were four of us. My credit card company called me the next day about the additonal hold placed on my credit card on top of the charges for the room which the lady at the desk really should have explained when we checked in. We will never stay here again if you do watch your credit card since they have still not released the hold now 6 days later.

The Red Roof Inn was very convenient to the Dover Downs casino in Dover, Delaware. It was located near many places to dine. The room was clean and I especially appreciated the microwave and the larger than average refrigerator in the room. The only inconvenience was the very small bar of soap.
