With the Ann Arbor hotels pretty booked due to graduation, the Red Roof Inn near the Detroit Airport was a good option. It was clean, the proprietors were helpful, and it was readily accessible from the interstate. No restaurant at the hotel, but plenty of nearby places. Room was somewhat small but perfectly fine for one person, and the facilities were in good condition. The drive to Ann Arbor was only about 15 minutes.

Hotel is close to Detroit Metro Airport. Needs updating badly. The only positive I am able to forward is the location by the airport. Negative is a terrible bed, very small room and a dirty bathroom.

It was close to the airport, inexpensive, close to restaurants and gas stations The room was very small for a king size bed, also mattress and box spring were in need of replacement. Heat control did not seem to work properly, OK for an overnight stay, not for vacation! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean, bed needed replacing (worn out) No elevator and no ground floor rooms available at the time we checked in.

Clean rooms and bathrooms. No frills, but prefect for a place to rest and sleep after being out and about all day.
