The Westlake Red Roof offers great service and low prices while providing some outstanding amenities, primarily due to its vicinity to some of Ohio’s premier shopping areas. The hotel is less than a mile away from Crocker Park, a unique shopping experience that boasts upscale and mid-range retailers like Barnes & Noble, Urban Outfitters, Victoria’s Secret, Abercrombie & Fitch, H&M, and many others. Crocker Park also offers numerous dining options ranging from quick bites to eat all the way to fine cuisine. Like most Red Roofs, this property does not offer breakfast service. However, just down the road the savvy visitor can find early morning options like Bob Evans, Bruegger’s Bagels, or McDonalds. Or you can make a quick trip to the Giant Eagle grocery store in Westlake and create an inexpensive in-room breakfast. HINT: For some excellent morning coffee and a local newspaper, walk from the hotel to the BP gas station/convenience center which is located next door to Red Roof. BP has upgraded the quality of its coffee in recent years and now offers several outstanding blends in most of its stores, including this one. In keeping with its no-frills image, Red Roof does not provide a fitness center on the premises. However, joggers and walkers can take advantage of the extensive sidewalks and wooded areas along Clemens Road and various intersecting streets for a long circuit. Deer have been known to emerge from the trees that line the sidewalk heading east from the hotel property. Standard rooms are equipped with two queen beds (for a visit in November, 2009, I was given a AAA price of $52). Travelers can pay a little extra for a room offering a mini-fridge and microwave (nightly cost was $60 after the AAA discount). And Red Roof also offers rooms geared to business travelers which feature one king-sized bed and a work area with room for files and a laptop; these rooms also throw in wi-fi access as part of the total price, which typically runs about $10-15 more than the standard rooms. Travelers in the standard rooms can also use the wi-fi service, but only if they purchase access. Local cable TV and pay channels are offered in all rooms. Red Roof is basic lodging, but you can count on a clean room everytime. That is certainly true of the Westlake property. This particular property also provides superior customer service. The friendly staff is attentive and efficient, and quite knowledgeable about local attractions. The hotel property is conveniently located just off the Crocker-Bassett exit (exit 156) of I-90, which is one of the main thoroughfares of northeastern Ohio. From Westlake, travelers can go east on I-90 to take advantage of the countless cultural and entertainment options of Cleveland, or head west toward the vicinity of Cedar Point.

The hotel room was modern and clean. The staff could not have been more friendly. The location is convenient. Heck, even the weather was nice which is hard to come by in Cleveland. I'm going back this weekend and I will definitely be staying at the Red Roof Westlake.

Great space with excellent work station area. Although they seem reluctant to change the sheets or even make the bed up very well it was comfortable and clean nonetheless. Terrific value with free wi-fi (in the business rooms with king bed). Microwave and small fridge made it an even better deal. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The location was great because it was right off of the highway. My business meeting was down the street in a location where there were shops and many dining options. It was nice and quite and the area seemed safe and lit.

The Red Roof Inn in Westlake was very comfortable, the all-inclusive king room was larger than I thought it would be. The bathroom (shower/toilet) were seperate from the vanity area (sink, mirror, LARGE counter). There was a VERY large desk area as well, free wifi, mini-fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable and clean. The location was close to pretty much everything. Restaurants, fast food, shopping,and gas stations were all within a block or so of the hotel; and it is in a very nice suburban area. Overall this hotel is very clean, cost efficient, and conveniently located. The only bad thing I can say is that the TV channel selection is very poor :) I would definitely stay again and would recommend it to others as well.

The Red Roof Inn in Westlake Ohio was a great value. Overall, it was clean and the staff was very helpful. We had one minor issue, the pillow cases had hair on them, but the young man at the front desk brought us clean ones right away. The property was well kept and in a good location just off the interstate and near a major shopping area and restaurants. We visit this area several times a year and this is defineately the best facitity we had found.

We did a number of activities in downtown Cleveland, such as the Indians and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The hotel was close, 15-20 minute drive, to downtown. The staff was very helpful in giving us tips for routes and parking. The complementary coffee in the office is good. Good restaurants within walking distance (mile or less) to the hotel. Beds a little too soft. Sound insulation not the best. Five men two doors down were waiting for a pizza delivery late in the evening and we could hear the entire conversation. Eveen after the quieted down, we could still hear them.Decent value for the money.

The Red Roof Inn West Lake was very comfortable. The room seemed brand new. I especially liked the large desk and work area, with internet acess. The staff was also very friendly. Also they allow one pet per room! Overall, it was a nice little motel. Free coffee/cappucino machine but no breakfast. There is vending however. I have no complaints. It was probably a 20 minute drive from downtown Cleveland.

They remodeled this one and it is fantastic. You can;t beat the rate and the staff here was so helpful and friendly. They really exceeded my expectations!

The Red Roof Inn in Westlake, Ohio was clean, comfortabel and a great value. The building and grounds look as though they were recently updated/ renovated. My husband, myself and our two children stayed here on our way home to New Hampshire from Illinois. We all slept comfortably; we actually slept in! The location was really easy to find as it is located 1 or 2 blocks off of the highway. Overall, I rated this stay very well and we would definetly stay there again.

The room was spotless--the entire staff from the managers to the maids was extremely friendly,helpful,and courteous.The location was great--right off the expressway and close to attractions,stadiums,shopping and dining. Next time I vacation in Cleveland I know where I will be staying.I highly recommend staying here--everything was just perfect!!!
