The hotel was clean, and the rooms had recently been updated. The only thing I would note is that wireless internet is only available in certain rooms, which was unclear until we arrived.

i was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. not that i expected anything awful, but you never know what you'll get. it was clean, nicely furnished, conveniently located and i would definitely stay there again. the recent redesign is a big plus!

When we went to check in, we were greeted immediately and the clerk was friendly. We had made a reservation a good bit in advance, and so had the other couple we were traveling with. We arrived a few hours later than the time we were told the rooms would be available, and we were informed that the rooms wouldn't be ready for a few hours yet. She said at first that there was nothing she could do, but after explaining that we had driven 80 miles there, and we needed the rooms asap, she agreed to let us stay in other rooms, which were the same, but they didn't have the same smoking preference. After we carried all of our things up the stairs, we all found that the room keys we were given did not work. They did remedy this situation within ten minutes, but it did happen to be below freezing, and was not very pleasant. The rooms appeared to be very clean, and things were in working order. The other couple we had traveled with had no complaints, nor did we, UNTIL we were packing up our things to leave. We checked under the bed to make sure we were not forgetting anything, and we saw a condom wrapper, a bottle of diet dr. pepper, and receipts dated for october, and our stay was in February.... Other than that, the beds were very comfortable, and the room was a short drive away from many restaurants. The neighborhood itself was not a good one, but we had no problems with this, probably because we weren't traveling alone. We did notice some commotion across the way in the middle of the night, but we weren't disturbed in our room. Overall, would definitely recommend for the price, but would not recommend any hotel in that area to anyone traveling alone. Of all the hotels that were anywhere close to the attraction we visited, this one had the best ratings and would recommend. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the linens were clean.

The hotel staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. The room was boiling even with the heat off. I would probably stay again for a brief visit.

I enjoyed my stay very happy with my overall stay. The only complaint I would like to mention is that the housekeepers did not clean room. They came by pretty early and I was still sleeping due to a late evening the night before. I assume they would come later and they did not. I'm sure I probaly could have call the front desk and they would have accomidated me but I had another late night and just wanted to sleep when I got back to the room. I just reused my towels and slept in the other bed.

They were great - had free coffee - free internet connectivity. Room was great - clean - comfy the air & heat worked great. Pets were welcome - we were moving out of town that day - loaded the truck and spent the night before driving from Cleveland to St. Louis the next morning.
