I like this Hotel for its clean rooms and great price for my short stays in Buffalo. I have stayed here many times. The longest was 8 nights. This is a friendly place.

The price was great for my very basic needs. This hotel was perfect if you only needed a place to sleep. It was a short distance from the airport, and easy to find. It was right near the freeway, so you could get to Niagara Falls very easily.

My wife and I had stayed here many times in the past. I have to travel through this area when I am going home or visiting where I used to work. It is a 15 hour drive and this is a nice halfway point. It is clean. The service is courteous and the price is reasonable. I highly recommend this place to others who will be travelling through the Buffalo area. There is easy exit and access back to the Thruway. There was construction when I went there and on a dark, rainy night I missed the right path through the construction barrels and damaged my car. But that was not the hotel's fault. (November 2008)

Stayed here because we were flying out the next day. Room was clean but no hair dryer or coffee maker and no continental breakfast.

The room takes a long time to warm up due to radiant heat rather than forces air. Poor lighting and extremely small bathroom add to the lack of comfort. It is a few miles from Buffalo airport other hotels are closer and look much more appealling.

Great free high speed Wi-Fi and nice staff. A location so obscure even the taxi drivers couldn't find it. Nice staff and great wireless internet. Clean. But located a fifteen dollar cab ride from airport and both taxi drivers got lost. Only thing around it is a Bob Evans restaurant. Ok if you are driving but not easily accessible otherwise.

We stayed at the Red Roof Inn overnight to make an early flight. The Inn is conveniently situated near the airport and although we were able to get to the Inn easily, it could use a better sign at the main road. The room was clean and the bed was one of the most confortable motel beds I'd slept on in a while. The lobby had coffee for the guests and it was good coffee. We checked out very early and the clerk was very cheerful and friendly for such an early hour! For the price, this was a very good room.

Not a good location for any one traveling without a car. It was average in ammenities, etc. The only resteraunt nearby is a Bob Evans, it is in walking distance, but the hotel is isolated on a quiet road - not good for females traveling alone, as the traveler must be willing to pay for a taxi! Better to pay more for a hotel!! Food delivery, although an option was limited to pizza - no one answered the phone # I was given for chinese.

Hotel was noisy from the interstate right beside it. Hotel was old and needed updating. Room was not clean to my standards and did not have a coffee maker or microwave in room. Location was not good road in front was under construction.

I reserved a room at this Red Roof Inn with an on line travel website for my folks who were in town visiting. I did so because this particular R.R. Inn was having a "20% Sale" on Travelocity site, so the room was about $50 for the nite, before taxes. The location is good, right off the Thruway on Transit Road (Rte. 78). One caveat for those unfamiliar with the area, right now (Summer/Fall 2008), there is MUCHO construction on Transit Road. Exiting from the Thruway onto Transit, you will be driving between cones and markers and barriers. At the moment, acess to both the Bob Evans and Red Roof Inn is hard left turn over a rather steep graveled slope - - very short, like maybe 15 feet, but my small car actually dragged bottom. This may improve by the time you are traveling. Then drive directly past Bob Evans on your RT as there is no visible sign for the R.R. Inn. After about 50 yards or so, you can see the sign beyond the trees. TIP: If you drive PAST the little blue temp. signs (and the death slope) for Red Roof on the left, at this point in time, you can take the (unmarked) NEXT left thru cones into Bob Evans side pkg lot, drive around back and then exit, turning RT onto Maple Dr. to avoid nasty gravel slope. In any event, that's the hard part, and it's only temporary! The motel is very clean, one floor, standard amenities. My booking thru an on line travel website went well, the office staff was courteous. Nothing fancy about this place, but room was very clean, comfortable, good a/c. The biggest perk: Bob Evans restaurant is in the "back yard"!! For basic, affordable lodging right off the Thruway near Buffalo, I'd recommend this R.R. Inn.

Newly renovated gives a clean feel to the old-style MOTEL experience. Not bad overall.

the hotel is very clean, and the room is also very clean, the king size bed was very comfortable, the location is next to the New York state thruway so it's easy to get to, but at times I heard a little road noise. There was road construction in the area so a little difficult at times turning onto the road that it was on. There was a back way into the hotel, so that made it much easyier avoiding the traffic. All in all a great stay!

Very Clean, Good Quality for the Price. Nothing Really, it met my expectations. For people who don't want to spend a bundle, but want something clean, comfortable and nicely organized, this is the place to go. I have stayed at quite a few RR Inns and will continue to do so in the future.

There is nothing special or fancy about this hotel, but if you are just looking for a clean room to crash in for a night or two this will do just fine. Again nothing fancy, but clean and friendly.

We just needed a place to sleep, because we were at the competition site most of the time. For this the accomodations were more than adequate. It was close to the university campus where the games were being held.
