Excellent latte machine. No coffee machine in room. I was quite satisfied with my stay. We arrived before check-in time and our accommodations were ready. The staff was polite and courteous.

The location was GREAT. It was right off the interstate. The beds were nice (I was able to sleep which it is hard for me to sleep in a hotel bed.) The room was small but was able to put up a play pen and still have room to mave around. However the bathroom was tiny just enough room for a toilet a shower and a person. I would stay there again for the price and the room was clean!

Room clean, but hari in sink. Bathroom teeny, tiny. Sorry, but I'd only stay again in a pinch.

This hotel was very conveniently located in Johnson City a very short distance (10 miles or less) to Vestal, Endicott and Binghamton. I found the hotel very comfortable, and there was plenty of shopping, entertainment and food options within a few blocks walking distance. There is also a decent mall located accross the street from the hotel.

The recent renovation of the rooms is very good. Housekeeping service wasn't all that thorough.

The Red Roof Inn is a friendly and clean place to stay at for a good price.

It was clean quiet and convenient to almost anything you could need. The bathroom was a little small. Our overall stay was excellent. We actually wound up staying an extra day and they had no problem extending our stay. It was a clean, quiet and conveniently located hotel.

The most impt. parts of a hotel are the bed, the heating/cooling system and the bathroom. We stayed at this hotel because of its claims to be renovated. True, the rooms appeared to be nice when you walked in. The countertops and bathroom were obviously new and the desk & headboards were new as well. They however didn't renovate the beds and heating/cooling system. First, I requested a non-smoking room because I'm allergic to smoke. When we arrived and opened the door, the room reeked of smoke! The woman at the front desk was very nice and accomodating & changed our room without difficulty. The next room however had an odor I couldn't place right away. It smelled clean on the surface but their was an underlying smell that was noxious to my nose. After awhile, I realized it was on one of the "comforters" (if you could call the paper thin, awful blanket that) and it smelled like mouse/rat feces. I stripped the bed but couldn't get rid of that smell all night. Next, the pillows smelled like dirty head - obvious they don't clean them either. Later, I went down to the front desk to ask for a blanket. I was told that he would bring one up to my room. Three hours passed, no blanket. The kids were already asleep so I couldn't leave the room. I froze all night because there weren't any blankets & we had to sleep with the fan running because the heating system kept shutting off and we could hear all of the hotel noises. They need new mattresses, nice thick & comfortable comforters that can be washed and bleached, actual blankets (this is NY), pillows that are washed, and updated heating/cooling systems. They also need to include breakfast for that price.

The room was clean. The price. The space. The service. I booked this hotel for four nights. I ended up only staying two. The price was not what I was quoted and I was charged over in taxes per night. There is no free wireless; you have to pay by the usage. The bathroom is so small that the sink is on the outside of it and there is very little space to turn around from the toilet to the shower, or even get dressed. The staff acts disgruntled and vicious; as if they couldn't care less whether you stay or find another hotel. The ice machine closest to my room was broken, so I had to walk to the next one, which was a little way from my room. Everything is outside and it's not a very secure place at night or early morning. The only restaurants it's close to are Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and Dunkin Donuts. There is no botanical garden and the carousel is at least 15 minutes if not more out of the way. All in all, I would have rather stayed at the Econolodge instead of being ripped off by this cheap, poorly done place.

Very courteous and efficient desk staff for both evening and morning. Room was well set up and very clean. The price I was charged, which included a senior discount, could not be beat --a very good value.

"Hotel met our needs. It was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Front desk was very pleasant. Lacked any ammenities, i.e. pool, breakfast which we are use to from other hotel chains we usually stay in."

"Location is great for getting to Binghamton or Endicott. Is across the street from the Mall, a just a block further is the interstate. Room was clean and it had high-speed Internet access. No frills, but price is great."
