It was horrible .... The room was filthy.. We did't get to our room until late and everything else was booked up.... It was a horrible experience for our family.... we had to sleep with the light on... the countertop in the sink area was totally filthy.... The bath tub had mold around it .... the inside had hair and filth.... and the ceiling was black with filth....... We could barely sleep and non of us could shower.!!!

Maid service and front desk were very helpful. Needs updating - but great arrangement with restaurant across the street for free breakfast that was absolutely great.

Located right off of the interstate, very affordable rates, and helpful staff. Hardly any amenities, but for the rate you pay it's understandable. I have stayed in worse places, and I've stayed in much better places. Benton Harbor has a bad reputation for being unsafe, whether that's justified or not I don't know, perhaps it's hostility or ignorance stemming from the riots several years ago. If you were traveling to the St. Joe/Benton Harbor area for the weekend, pay a little extra and stay in St. Joe.

We stay here every time we go to Michigan, but in the past two years, the quality of the rooms seemed to have diminished. The staff was always really nice.

Good location because there are plenty of restaurants and stores such as Wal-mart all within walking distance...clean room...comfortable bed...nice staff!

I was very pleased with everything about the Red Roof Inn and especially that they don't charge extra for my little dog in fact we stayed at a red roof inn in Wis. on our way to MN. because of no charge her. It also was in an excellent location and the rate was very good, Very pleased with everything
