No resturant in hotel, not much of a selection on cable.

I really liked hotel location, cleanliness and friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anybody. Enjoyed the easy access to the hotel and staff was very friendly.

This hotel was right off of I-17 and Bell, which made getting around the north end of town very easy. It was surrounded by resturants and many activities. If you are interested in going to Taliesan West, it was only about a 20 minute drive. The room as nice and quite comfortable for our needs. I would definately stay here again!

Not bad. Good location. The security impressed me, you need to use your room key just to get into the building. The staff was ever so helpful and friendly. The rooms (I got the large) was perfect for all of our large suitcases, etc. Overall an excellent deal for the price! The carpet could have been vacuumed better. The edges of the carpet have obviously been neglected for a long time (dark carpeting so it's pretty obvious that they vacum real fast in there - but I've cleaned in the past, so these things are VERY obvious to me). The furnishings are obviously old, and the remote did not turn the tv on, though it did change the channels, but can't complain for the price. Only thing I didn't like was wifi was not included in price of room. But overall, I would definitely stay again and would recommend this particular motel to others.

Friendly staff. Noisy freeway location, no amenities. Room does not have desk or table, no frig, noisy freeway location, overpriced for what you get.

Decent value for the money. Conveniently located off I-17, yet we couldn't hear any highway traffic from our room. The neighborhood (North Phoenix) felt safer than, say, the downtown Phoenix area. Room was clean, and the laminate flooring and red walls in the bathroom were a nice touch. We also liked having an elevator to reach the upper floors, and we appreciated the fact that the pool was up and running, even though it was only March. Only negative was that they provide only basic complimentary supplies, so bring your own toiletries. Also, while there are casual dining restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance, your fast-food options are pretty limited off this exit...so if arriving hungry and looking for a drive-through pick-up...we suggest first pulling off at an earlier exit to buy your meal...before hopping back onto the freeway for this hotel's exit.

I stayed here with my two boys 10 and 8 and thought the hotel was just fine -- clean, nice large room, good staff. Other guests were a big teenage boys baseball team and a wedding party -- nice clean cut guests and a relaxed safe atmosphere. Chain restaurants of every description very close by. About 7 easy miles from Peoria sports complex. Go padres!

I forgot how "bare bones" a Red Roof Inn is. I had a lot of trouble finding the hotel. Directions from Mapquest were not good and there really is no "street" sign to direct you to the hotel. It fronts on to a frontage road along the freeway with no direct entrance. I missed not having at least a small table with chair to sit on. And no coffe maker. I do not think I would stay her again. I was in the town of Peoria to attend a Padres spring training game. Next year I will prefer to stay at a hotel closer than 9 miles to the ball park.

No, the hotel did not meet our standards. Kleenex and an exhaust fan should be mandatory. So should a microwave that works correctly and opens easily. Also it would be great to shower without standing in dirty water. The bathroom sink should drain after being used. The hotel should not charge for Internet access to the business rooms. The fridge should have all its internal parts so that our food would stay in the fridge when opened and not fly out onto the carpet. The only window in our room would not open. I guess we expect more from a Hotel...

It was fine. The rooms need a table and chair though, but for the price, I really can't complain. Love the Italian restaurant next door within walking distance.

I had the opportunity to stay at this Red Roof Inn for 8 days which is located in Union Hills. The location was perfect for me. Located right off interstate 17. The room was clean and well maintained. The pool is open all year and when I visited in January it was at 90 degrees. I was in the pool every day. I was a bit skeptical of what area of town I was staying in because I got such a low room rate of $**. a night. I stayed at this location alone and I never once felt afraid. I picked this location because you must enter thru the lobby then go to your room. When traveling alone I prefer to stay at hotel / motels that you go to your room via the lobby instead of the outdoor hallways. The lobby has free 24 hr latte / mocha / regular coffee machine and a microwave oven. I got a $3.00 foam cooler at Wal-Mart to keep drinks cold in the room. There isn't a continental breakfast so get some instant oatmeal?s or something from Wal-Mart or fry's The only downside I found is there is no in room fridge and there isn't an onsite laundry room so I took my clothes up to 35th and bell to the Laundromat. It is approx 1-2 miles away. Wal-Mart is about 3 miles up the street and there are plenty of places to eat and shop in the area. There is a small strip mall located right next door which has a $2.00 movie theatre and a great sports bar named Santucci bar and grill (forgive me if the spelling is in correct) They really have great food. The grocery store is basically across the street.

The Red Roof Inn Phoenix Bell Road, Phoenix, Arizona was very comfortable, the room seemed much larger than most.I liked the fact that the bathroom was separate from the vanity area and there was a sink with a counter and there was adequate space for hanging clothes and they provided two suitcase stands.

This hotel has one great thing going for it. It is located right on Interstate 17 ad Bell Road. This allows one to drive quickly on main roads to just about anywhere in Phoenix and surrounds. It is missing basic amenities such as a table and chair for any type of business comfort. The pool is clean and very accessible. There is coffee but no other access to dining without driving. A great value if all you want is a clean bed, bathroom and easy access to your room and your car. From there, I was able to easily visit friends in Sun City, restaurants in Scottsdale and the backcountry between Phoenix and Prescott. (I highly recommend separate day trips to Crown King and/or the drive through Yarnell and Peeples Valley, the mountain road entering Prescott from the southwest.)
