It was a great place to stay. We didn't know it, but they sold Silverwood Theme Park Tickets there, which saves you a few dollars. If we had known this beforehand, we wouldn't have had to travel to Costco to purchase them ahead of time. We didn't get a room with a view, but our room was nice. The air conditioner was on when we arrived which was nice since it was 100 degrees that day outside. We were there for three days and never got a fully cleaned room or new towels, though they took our dirty ones. (Maybe because we had the dog in her crate in the room, and the maid was afraid of her or something)

The staff was very friendly. Quick check in and out because of using Priceline. Loved the price! Very small rooms. We had a delightful stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We will use Priceline again!

The setting is lovely, but the hotel is like a trip back to the 1970's. The Wi-Fi for computer service was down, The TV was small, limited channels and no video on demand. My son had a school project to watch a movie. There is no DVD player, we went and bought a DVD player. The TV was so old that we could not hook it up. We called the front desk to see if we could get another TV, they said no. The heater makes a ton of noise. The pillows are like sleeping on a brick.

We came there for a family birthday party for a 90 year old uncle that lives in califonia. The motel was right across from a very nice park on the river. The room was clean and well maintaned but the king bed was broke down on the right side, so bad my husband kept rolling to the left we finally had to change sides and I slept on a small ridge on the far right. We travel a lot and really felt it was one of the worse night sleep we have ever had.

The Red Lion Templin's Hotel on the River in Post Falls, Idaho was very modern for the price. The rooms were clean and simply stocked with some writing paper, pens, and water. From what I read, the 2 restaurants there seemed to have a variety of interesting menu selctions, although we chose to eat at a local restaurant instead. The river was very high when we went, so the dock was closed off and the river boat ride was closed, but sounded like a fun thing to do when available. We did not have a view of the river from our room, but I'm sure several rooms did, and the view from the lobby was very nice. There are 3 parks close by with trails to explore. The staff was friendly, but didn't seem extreemly knowledgable of the area. Also, they didn't inform us of the location or times available for the fitness center or pool. There didn't seem to be much information available on those features in the room or directions to guide us there in the hallways either. Overall, the hotel was very reasonably priced for the area, a better deal than most available lodgings in Couer d' Alene (the next closest city), and much less busy than Spokane hotels.

Good quality for the price we paid. No comp breakfast. Nice restaurant and easy to get to freeway.

Hotel was in a great place. The hotel itself was very clean and the area was quiet and beautiful along the river.

If you're looking for a place to rest fantastically (awesome beds), feel secure, and be close enough to other attractions, activites and food, but not too close - THIS IS THE PLACE. Perfect location - easy to get in and out of Spokane, Post Falls, Coeur d'Alene and other near by cities with activities and restaurants. Awesomely quiet and undisturbed even though it's on the river. Nice options of boating, paddle boating and taking a cruise. Post Falls park is near by as well for the kids to play around or fish. On site restaurant, "Mallards," pricing is good, service stinks - they admitted they forgot we were waiting to be served after 25 minutes of sitting waiting for a drink. Definitely don't be in a hurry or really hungry. Front desk service is slow too. Clean? Well, they didn't vacuum, the white sheets had some black oil stain on both beds. They also never cleaned a spot of chocolate off the shower wall from previous guests.

The proximity to Spokane, Couer d'lane, the river and the biking trail make this a great location.

It was quiet and peaceful and located by a wide, still river. No refrigerator in the room. Pleasant clean hotel, located away from the freeway.

For what we paid for two nights, this was a huge disappointment. The room smelled like wet dog, and it was small. The front desk staff was not friendly. On the first morning, the housekeeper met us at our door as we were heading out for the day, and we told her we only wanted more coffee packets. She gave us two more and went on her way. We discovered upon our return that she had come back into our room and removed any wet towel and washcloth, but she didn't replace them or even empty the garbage. Why come back?? We were told we got free breakfast both mornings for the package we got, but we only got one morning. The walls were also pretty thin. The "balcony" we got didn't have chairs and wouldn't fit the chairs in the room. For the same money, stay in Spokane! The waitress and hostess at Mallard's were the only bright spot in our entire stay.

The location on the river was great. The beds were comfortable. The restaurant and bar closed too early, and there were no servers right before 11:00 am. We had pleasant stay at the hotel and enjoyed being on the river. The rooms were smaller than anticipated and the TV's were small, but all in all we enjoyed the hotel. Would be nice if the bar and restaurant were open later. We would definitely stay there again.

We had an excellent Stay in December at this hotel. It feels more like a resort than a hotel and sits right on the river. Very quiet and off the beaten path but still close to restaurants and shopping. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Will stay again!

Lounge. No fridge, slow staff, not changes since 70's. I Liked the lounge in the hotel staff there was very slow. The comfort of the hotel was not good. Building 2 was very creepy. And there was no continental breakfast.

This was a very nice hotel, it was set back from all the busyness of the town and was very quiete, the lobby was beautiful with a window looking out at the river, and our room was great the beds were so comfortable we didn't want to leave, with nice bath and body works lotions and soaps in the bathroom. Only thing it could have used was a bigger tv, which we probably would not have noticed but the room had a very large entertainment center that made the tv look small. And we were on the 1st floor so we had a door into the room from outside (as well as one from the hallway inside) which was so nice to be able to unpack our car. One other downfall was that the pool/hot tub was closed at 9 or 10, we were not able to use it since after dinner and shopping we did not get back to the hotel until after that.

Beautiful views, free upgrade. No continental breakfast included in room price. This is a great hotel in a very convenient and beautiful location just 1 mile off the interstate. Highly recommend. Only drawback is no breakfast provided with room charge.

On the river, nice views. Small pool with no outside access. The hotel was an older property with a fair amount of remodeling done. The rooms seemed fairly clean and decent, but nothing spectacular. The pool was fairly small and did not offer any outside access. Restaurants appeared expensive.

Front desk staff fixed room issue extremely fast and upgraded us. Small TVs. Beautiful setting at early part of summer season so not real busy with tourists. People at the desk were very nice. I didn't care for the small TVs. Regular rooms have about a 19" TV and our upgraded room still only had about a 25" or so. Time to upgrade those TVs, but we enjoyed our stay.

we had a short but very good stay i wish we could have had a longer vaction at the red lion. we have young children and they enjoyed the pool and our evening cruise down the river. we would definitly stay here again. hopefully next summer, there is lots to do and many places to go and shop very close by. food at the hotel was very good and the views beautiful. the staff was very helpful with making things work with our picky eaters. we thank you all for a good trip.

It was away from the freeway, which made it quieter. Guests tend to forget that others may like to sleep at night.
