Very friendly staff. I was impressed with the quality of the hotel for the great price!

Even though the hotel is older, and have exterior entrances, the rooms have been remodeled. Staff was very accomodating. Room was very clean. Would definitely recommend for the price. Very convenient to hospital and downtown.

The room was nice. The pool and sauna were outside and it not advertised that way. I have stayed in two different Red Lions before and loved them. This one not as much. The pool and sauna were outside and that was not mentioned at all on-line or upon checkin. I would've chosen a different place for the trip I was on. This would still be a great choice for business traveling.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Everything was just perfect from the service, to the complimentary HOT breakfast, even the price was right! I will definitely be back!!

Decent price, fairly clean. Dirty drinking glasses, poor heat, nearby railroad noise. Upon arrival we were told free continental breakfast would end at 10:00, we arrived at 9:30 and not even a scrap was available. Room and staff were O.K.; however, I always check the drinking glasses in the rooms and one had not even been rinsed and had lipstick and who know what else all over it. It was a cold night in Montana and the heater took many hours to warm the room up enough that it was tolerable. For the price it was O.K., but some obvious disappointments as well.

We don't understand how this hotel got a 3-star rating. The building was run down, the room was clean but dingy looking. The hotel is not near any of the downtown shopping areas. It is a mile or so from the University of Montana campus. There are several much nicer looking hotels along the interstate exits.

Convenient location, clean rooms, quiet, nice pool and good continental breakfast. Very nice hotel in convenient location, pleasant outdoor pool and hot tub.

Stayed at the Red Lion Missoula. The staff was very friendly, room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the continental breakfast was great!! Will stay again!

Cleanliness is very important for me to be comfortable in a hotel. The lobby, our room, and the grounds in general were all well kept.

Convenient to town and very clean. Very comfortable beds with lots of pillows. Yummy cookies in the lobby and a nice breakfast buffet. I would definately recommend this motel and I would certainly stay here again.

The breakfast was nice. Simple but adequate. Exterior corridors and room entry made this feel quite motel-ish. While the Red Lion was adequate and comfortable enough, it did not meet the 3.5 star rating given by Priceline still the deal was smashing enough to make the discrepancy irrelevant. The staff was quite friendly, the beds comfortable and clean. The breakfast was nicer than some with additions such as sausages, warm rolls and breakfast burritos to the usual cereal, toast and coffee fare. The pool was large and clean, and though outdoors, inviting. A positive experience all in all.

Very clean, great location. The rooms clean and up to date. They had a nice breakfast. It was in a central location and a nice area of town.

Room was updated, nice continental breakfast. No elevator to get to second floor. The hotel was really nice with granite counter tops. There were 2 sinks, one inside and one outside the bathroom. There was no bathtub, only a shower, and the pressure was lousy. There was an additional table to sit at besides the usual desk and chair and not that we brought much, but there was a huge closet and tons of places to put luggage and clothing. Very nice room. Hotel was close to downtown too, but not in it, so that was nice.

Room/bedding very comfortable and attractive. Lighting. No night light or dimmers. For the price ,room was great. Room comfortable, attractive. Very nice hot tub. However the stairs/walkways were very dirty and unattractive. Garbage could on stair landing quite dirty looking. Parking lot and landscaping okay, though.

Convenient location, friendly staff. The poolwas closed, the room smelled musty. It seemed deceptive to say they have a pool and not let us know it was closed. They didn't let us know it was an outdoor pool also. The hotel seemed old and kind of run down.

Beautiful lobby, friendly staff, and great bathroom. Room needed to be vacuumed.

Private, quiet, clean, very friendly staff, comfortable as can be. Find a creative way to use non-throw away plates, utensils, etc. For my purposes, this hotel was great. I stayed a week. It was easy to get to by foot or bike. It was always clean, private and comfortable.

Spacious room, and double sink. Bed bug on bed, furnace did not come on right, spa was not working. Not up to Red Lion usual standard.
Date of Stay:
April, 2009
Small room & small beds - only a shower. This hotel is not a 2.5 star compared to others I have stayed. The room was tiny, no bathtub, and a very small bed too. The location is poor - not very safe area.
Date of Stay:
April, 2009
Location of my room, Secluded next to the utility room.
