The hotel was a bit outdated but overall it was nice.

Staff was very friendly, breakfast bar was good. Actual room was in extreme disrepair. Parts of this hotel are in poor condition and in need of attention. In particular, the deck off our room was rotted, railing was extremely loose and unsafe, tiles in shower had peeling paint on them, and temperature control knob on room refrigerator had been torn out of unit so fridge wasn't cold. Ice machine outside room was filthy.

I've stayed in numerous Red Lions and this was by far the most tired and in need of repairs.

The scenery. Kind of run down. The balcony would not have been safe for younger kids. Good breakfast. Kind of run down, but clean.

This is a very decent hotel on the waterfront. It can be a little noisy in the morning with the activity on docks, but I happen to enjoy that.

The view was awesome and it was quite for the most part. No rental able DVD players, fridge did not get cold.

Room was very nice, clean and spacious. Hotel is in an odd location and one needs directions to get there. The thermostat in the room didnt work and the room overheated to a high temperature during the night, after it was set below 60 degrees. The sliding door was not easy to open and becuse of the notice about safety, it wasnt clear if it should be opened.

Price and location met my needs. The weather was too wet. Great place for your next visit to Astoria.

The Red Lion Inn at Astoria, Oregon offers views of the Columbia River with a large boat dock right outside your window. You also have a view of the 4-mile long bridge that connects Oregon and Washington. While there is no restaurant located in the hotel, there are a variety of good restaurants nearby. You may opt to go on a charter fishing trip. The facility is just next door and the boat is docked outside your window. This hotel is close to Fort Stevens State Park and close to many beaches.

Nice location, adjacent to marina. Hotel is a little dated. I'd read some negative reviews about this hotel so was a little concerned. We had a good experience here. The room was comfortable. Furniture is dated but given the Priceline rate, nothing to complain about. The immediate area could use some revitalization but having the view of the marina was nice.

Beautiful view! The check in girls were not real friendly.

We traveled in a large group, and requested connected rooms, the hotel clerk gave rooms that did not connected to each other, and we had to make another request again. The room I stayed which had a very strong odd dead rat smell. The other two rooms my family stayed, one with out of order TV and the other had problem with the heating and cooling system. It was the worst experience that we ever had with a hotel.

I like the view and the place was pleasant. No complaints. Its located on the waterfront. The place looks a little outdated from the outside, but the rooms are nice.

They upgraded me to a suite, after finding mold in my 1st room. Mold in room; rusty water in suite after water pipe breakage! Nice, but a bit out of the way. Don't thing I'd chose it again, if I had the choice.

It was quiet and my boyfriend liked the gym. It was old and in disrepair, there was not much to do there. It has good location, overlooking private boats, old buildings room interiors and limited quality of breakfast. Gym only open from 10 – 9.
