My Baby was rudely awaken by a wake up call I did not ask for. I am very unhappy and will never stay at the Red Lion Again.

Locationwas great, romantic and just a great experience. The bathrooms were a little cramped.

The loaction was great and the hotel was superior. On the river and very easy to get to. Vancover was a quiet place to stay while visting portland.

The property is nicely located on the Columbia River, but is showing its age, especially in the hall carpeting. Also sound proofing is not up to modern standards. Nearby trains pass regularly during the night and both whistles and engine sounds are noticeable. Also, on the floor above us the people began to prepare for departure at about 4:15 am. It was easy to hear them shower and move about the room. The restaurant and bar are nice if not elegant, and this property has plenty of space for conventions and meetings. We spent 3 nights in the general area, but only one at this location.

Great value and very clean & comfortable. Best stay of trip. Pool was closed for season. Great place to stay and very conveniently located. From the outside it looks a bit dated but the rooms were updated and the restaurant was great the bar was jumping too. Lots within walking distance and easy to get to anywhere in Port/Van from here. I don't usually waste my time writing a review when I stay somewhere, most about the same. But I really enjoyed this one.

The riverwalk begins right at the hotel--WONDERFUL! Staff was friendly; room was clean and bed was extremely comfortable; met all my expectations. The dining room overlooks the river--beautiful setting--and the food was good. I'd go back tomorrow if I could.

We arrived late (10pm)and were told that even though everything was pretty much shut down for the night, we could still call room service as soon as we were in our room and they would provide service. Food was excellent!! That bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!!! Even more so than my own!! Thank you Red Lion!!

the people were very helpful, room was a handicap room for my traveling pal. The only issue was that the door key slot battery was low and we had to continuly go back to front dest to get new scan. they did that promptly and called for maitntence to take care of. we were there over the weekend so their may not have been the full staff. we had a good experience. plp

Our hotel was right on the magnificent Columbia River with grand vistas from every window. Our room was delightful and the entire staff were wonderful. Don't miss the Sunday Brunch!

The first room we were given was small and definitely not three star as I had requested. It needed fixing up. I moved to another room that they wanted a $20 upgrade for(but I did not have to pay) which was larger and quite nice. However there was a leak in the bathroom that was never fixed during out stay.

Comfortable bed. Noise from airplanes. Very comfortable beds and friendly staff. However, the remodel that must have taken place here not too long ago was not to the highest standard, possibly contributing to the somewhat not-so-clean appearance of the bathrooms.

You could open the windows to let fresh air in. Right next to very loud trains, older hotel. A good for the money, best if you are not needed luxury but just the basics. The hotel is older but very clean. North-facing rooms are loud from trains that pass during the night; request a river room. Great for just passing through Portland or for an economic place to stay.

It had a nice lobby. The room had a very strong musty odor, it seemed a little rundown, tv didn't work well, could not control the thermostat. I would not recommend this hotel. It had a very strong musty odor to the room that you could smell as soon as you entered the room. The room seemed a little rundown and out of date. The thermostat was difficult to control. We weren't sure if it was broken, but if was not working properly.

Very nice quality. No breakfast (always inconvenient), no hot tub, pool unusable, very limited weight room. Quality, clean, comfortable. Location a little difficult for driving but along river, quay is nice, very nice pedestrian path. Restaurant decor worth visiting, really awed us. On-site computer use is limited.

The interior of the restaurant nautical decor was great. Pool is outside, and it was cold! I like the wrong - side of the tracks location, between railroads; next to I-5 freeway and I would return as the rooms were quiet, restaurant had a nice view of the Columbia for breakfast, and the beds were very comfortable.

The hotel is located right next to the Columbia river. The view is wonderful. The hotel is in disrepair on the outside. It didn't appear like a 3 star hotel. The hotel is located in close proximity to the Columbia river. The view is great. The parking lot and outside of the building do not say 3 star hotel. My room was fine but had a slightly musty odor as if it had not been used for a while. The staff was not particularly friendly. I was somewhat disappointed with the hotel given that it had a 3 star.

Free parking, and close to Portland's north side. No free breakfast, and the unpleasant smell of the room. We had stayed at the Red Lion at Jantzen Beach, and liked it better, seemed newer, and had free breakfast, and was one exit closer to north Portland...but it was not available at booking.

I liked the price. Not in the safest area of Vancouver, WA. It is decent, the bathroom caulking is a bit moldy, but the lady who cleaned our room (we stayed six nights) was meticulous and very kind. The lobby staff was average at best.

Convenient, scenic location, great coffee and breakfast in lounge. I always like Red Lions, just wish they'd update their bedding. Great location; older property but interesting design and lovely view of the Columbia River. Also convenient to riverfront walking trail, which is lovely city amenity. Good breakfast, great coffee and service in the lounge downstairs.
